So the Rueben brothers are nothing at all to do with Castore and they are not investors in any way shape or form.
Interesting that the new shop Castore are opening in Newcastle (not the club shop) is apparently in retail premises owned by the Reuben brothers
I hear Castore is part owned by Newcastle City Council. Interesting that theyre opening a store in Newcastle There's no such thing as a coincidence.
However, it has all been put to bed by Castore’s CEO Tom Beahon. “Some of the stuff I’ve seen about the Reuben Brothers being investors or Mike Ashley are just fundamentally not true,” Beahon told the Chronicle. “I know each one of my investors on a first name basis, I’ve got all of their numbers in my phone and I speak to them quite regularly to discuss what’s going on with the business.”
It is a change though regarding the stores.. No longer sports direct. The noises castore are making are great.. Bespoke strips and ambitious aims. I think the other merchandise will be tidy too... The world's moving on from nike and adidas. I'm looking fwd to seeing the strips.
If I don't like them I most certainly will, but I like some of their stuff having had a gander and I think they will be looking to make a statement.
Their Rangers kits are nice, but I think the Wolves kits that were leaked are a step down from Adidas. I think its near impossible for our kits to get worse so im not worried.
I think fun88 makes its difficult and if the they try to add too much of that awful shade of blue elsewhere it'll look even worse. If fun88 would let them use white it'd look so much better. There's strong rumours it's a grsndad collar like on the one from Keegan years... If true then it suggests a big effort. I hated puma... The away shirts were OK though in some cases.
That looks like a lot of kisses to me. It must be because of my fighter fit body. Expecting the ladies to be swooning when I wear the shirt. I can see it now.
