We've got to play better than this in the second half...

I disagree with this, thought we pushed well in the second half looking to win the game

No, one person was and you've clearly acted like a bellend in retaliation.

    You're offended?
    Good.
Next time you might not act like such a twat.

Better result for us than Toon, without a doubt. We're now in pole position for fourth with Pool only drawing at home to a weakened Man U.

I don't see Toon as serious contenders for 4th, but if you were to be, you needed to win this one.

Overall a good game, fair result and great second half.

Come back in a while after your nailed-on descent down the table begins. You have won a couple of games at the start of the season. Get a grip.

No there was more than one person. There was a thread complaining about Toon supporters coming on your board & talking about players etc selective memory after playing The Toon seems to happen a lot on opposition boards, thanks for fitting the stereotype

The stereotype that Spurs fans don't like people acting like a bellend in response to other people acting like a bellend?
Yeah, I fit that pretty well, I must admit.

One person writing an article doesn't represent every fan of a club.
Get over yourself, you over-sensitive tart.

Except, he's right, of course. Your view of the game is totally biased. Yes, you were the better team in the first half - but we shaded the second, as poorly as we played today.
In the end, neither team really deserved to win - draw was a fair result, IMO.

So the bellend confesses to being a bellend now?

    Well done.
Being insulted by people for acting like a prick is very hard to do.

I'm very confident we'll finish above Toon this season, just like last season and the season before <ok>

A draw was a fair result and much better for us than Toon.

you fans may not fear any of our players but ur defence where ****ting their vital organs in the second half.

We fully deserved our point today, for a supposedly top 4-5 team you didnt look anything special to be honest, other teams have put up much more a fight.

As for the major incidents the penalty was stonewall IMO, Taylor caught him and brought him down was perhaps fortunate not to see a straight red for the challenge.

Defoe's goal was a quality strike no denying that, but it was more our mistakes that stopped us getting the 3 points rather than Spurs playing a good game.

Our last shout for a penalty WAS handball BUT it was ball to hand NOT hand to ball and would have been very harsh.

I honestly think we were the better team and could have won this one.

Wonder if City, M. United and Chelsea can put up more of a fight because so far I'm not scared of anyone we've played in this league.

I'd say the typical arrogance is coming from a Geordie here. We do have arrogant fans I grant you, but so do Toon.
