Doesn't look like Ashley is getting any support whatsoever and seems mps have happily taken up the hypocrisy argument that our own fans presented for them. Big own goal
So he shouldn't. If you have any faith in Mike Ashley after what he's done to you/us for 15 ****ing years, then I don't know what to tell you. Here's the best bit - if Ashley wins, and just trousers some coin without selling, what will we be able to do? **** all. If PL win and they "rob" us of the chance of heavy investment, what will we be able to do? **** all. It's all painted in this elaborate charade that somehow we, the fans, will win either way when the stark reality is we'll lose whatever happens. We win when Ashley - in spite of 14 years of "trying" to sell the club - drops the price. That's it. I can't make him any more than the PM can make him, he owns it. All this other **** is about Ashley's bank balance and I suspect/fear that we fans will be the ones to lose, as usual, yet again.
Ah, so Rafa to Everton, Jose to Roma, Poch new deal with PSG. But I'm sure we weren't after any of 'em.
I don't care whether he should or not that's not the point. I'm wanting him gone, so in this scenario I'm on his side 100% The people still fighting Ashley at this point deserve to end up with him another 14 years.. Perhaps the next time they'll do what's required
Unless Ashley has some serious dirt on the ESL (fantasy scenario imo) then I don't see him getting much traction on the corrupt PL angle. No one aside from NUFC fans actually wants this takeover to go ahead anyway.
Can't believe so many of us have at various points of this thread alone fallen for this hokum ****ing bullshit. Fool me once, Ashley, shame on you. Fool me 15 times, shame on me. Yet here we are, some us still genuinely thinking there's some Saudi oil dawn on the horizon....
This is the same attitude you had from Oct until January when you were saying this type of thing about fans saying the case was for arbitration. We're close there's a good chance the club wins the case otherwise it would never have bothered. I've been wrong loads so have most people, but this idea it's just Ashley trying to avoid buying a midfielder is bizarre.
Yeah, as I said, I was sucked in after Jan, mate. I thought there was something happening. I've kind of woken up.
