Oh hello, be interesting if we do have a buyer. Would be a pretty big wage off the bill to hopefully utilise elsewhere.

Sell both and get in 2 centre backs. Keep Sanchez, Tanganga and Rodon.

Sanchez is a liability in a 2 but as a 3 his speed could be a massive benefit. One of the papers has linked us to Coady, probably just lazy journalism due to the Santo link.

Watched Ally Golds latest YouTube video this morning and he gave an interesting intake into Tomiyasu should we sign him.

Most assume (me included) that we will always et up with a back three under Nuno but Paratici wants Nuno to be versatile with different formations and tactics not just 343 but also 4231 or 443 as he did at Valencia.

Tomiyasu being so versatile would be bought in as a hybrid RB/CB.
In a back four he would play tucked in allowing Reguilon to bomb upfield (similar to what Jose tried to do with Ben Davies and Aurier)
In a back three the Japanese international would play quite wide on the right.

    Tanganga offers similar attributes too.

Telegraph report that Villa want Winks. Danny, Fabio, you know what to do.

Leicester have announced the Soumare signing for a rumoured fee of just £17m.

Daka is expected to be announced soon too for around £25m.

These ****ers are getting too smart in the window for my liking.

I’m hoping Paratici has a few tricks up his sleeve.

Yeah this is pretty much my view too and why I’m not fretting over Winks - and possibly Dele - leaving. The squad can be trimmed down nicely with the aim of rebuilding it over the next three windows (this summer, January and the following summer), hopefully in time for when we’re back in the EL or possibly CL.

Kessie's been linked again, this time with Milan expecting £60m

For a player in the final year of their contract

If we pay that, Paratici needs to be sacked

I rate Kessie but hes never worth £60 mill, I think if we sign Kessie it spells the end for N'Dombele or Lo Celso. Would like to see us prioritise a creative midfielder and a CB

For me it depends on the formation we end up prioritising. I struggle to see a place for NDombele in a 343. GLC has been playing deeper for Argentina in this Copa America so could fit into a double pivot but he’s rarely fit. If we play 433/4231 more regularly then NDombele has more of a natural fit as an AM as does Gio, though the latter is more flexible.

But Kessie at that price is a no regardless.

Given he only has a year on his contract, Milan are begging to be Levy'd if they think that they'd get much above £18m

    But yeah, not for £60m.

I'm sure they'll be ecstatic when he joins his former teammate at Inter next season for nothing. <ok>

    SPURS' TOMIYASU BID REJECTED

Tottenham have had an offer rejected by Bologna for defender Takehiro Tomiyasu.

    Spurs offered £12.9m (€15m) plus an extra £2.6m (€3m) in add-ons in a bid with a total value of £15.5m (€18m).

However, the offer is close to the Serie A club's valuation of at least £17.2m (€20m), and talks remain ongoing over a deal for the defender.

Sky Sports News reported earlier this week that Tottenham's new managing director of football Fabio Paritici had opened talks with Bologna for Tomiyasu, who is highly-rated in Italy.

    You've been "Levy'd" <laugh>

    Spurs that is :bandit:

And of course United didn't bid low for Sancho at any point in the recent negotiations and then go back to the table?

And when you last bought a house (if you have) I guess you just paid the full asking price for it?

Athletic claiming Aurier, Lamela and Winks have all expressed a desire to play away from Spurs and that we’re also considering offloading Sissoko and Lucas.

Despite last year I’d have been happy to let Lucas go I think from a squad perspective he’s worth having around now. Had a decent season and built a little on his consistency which had always been an issue.

    The others… byyyyyyyyyye!
