I would imagine it's frustrating for the club having seen the response the ESL story got and then thinking here we're shouting from the rooftops that the premier league and the big 6 are guilty of anti competition breaches and nobody is even reporting it... They're getting a page somewhere discreet on SSN.. I think it's an indication of what they're up against and just how deep the corruption goes. It's down to us I feel to make noise that cannot be ignored.. I feel that's what we've been encouraged to do.
ESL threatened Sky, the PL and various others with vested monetary interest. The NUFC takeover is a threat to “big” clubs, therefore a threat to the power behind the PL. It matters to one set of fans, Mike Ashley and nobody else. There are more beneficiaries of a failed takeover than of an approved one thus it was never going to happen, no matter the corruption or sense of injustice. And I’ll also tell you this - in less than three years time Man Utd will be owned by Saudi.

Like be anonymously vocal on twitter, infiltrate the stadium, be decried by the media as "morons" and ultimately have no impact on the outcome? Everything we do is ignored. Everything. The one thing that should've happened is Ashley should have a) treated the club with some respect during his tenure, then b) sold at an appropriate price when it was clear he was a ****ing twat. Premier League are just another corrupt bunch of corporate ****s. No different to the boards at any other large corporation in the world, driven by greed and corruption in the pursuit if £££. There's more blame at Ashley's door for all this clubs failings, but actually it runs deeper than that back to the FA losing control, creation of PL, because in no way should a stupid working class sport like football have ever got into such a financial mess. The Premier League are almost entirely responsible for all the greedy-based bullshit that has ruined football forever.

Absolutely my thoughts... They get rid of Ashley if they help him win ffs. It's totally unnecessary and short sighted and I think this lot think they've got some 3rd party play in this. They're **** all without Ashley on this.
