I think another lesson in corporate greed is about to handed out to everyone. PL can hide behind "confidential process" until the end of time. There's a dozen ways they can keep stalling and win this, and whilst there may be outrage, I'll just point to the ESL - what happened there? Anybody really suffer? Points deductions, hefty fines, UEFA bans? Nope. This football "shockwave" has resulted in.....the square root of **** all happening. And the ESL is a much larger scale of wrong-doing that six clubs blocking Newcastle's takeover. I think the press release is fear from Ashley that the Arbitration is just another corrupt part of the process we can't win. The PL will stick by "no comment" and "confidential process" because nobody can make them transparent, the Gov entity that might one day simply doesn't exist, the rules need to be re-written and won't be any time soon. They've had all the noise already from Newcastle fans and our sympathisers, it doesn't bother them, it doesn't effect the price of TV rights - Qatar has stuck by them on that as a true Nassir Al Khalifa style "gift" - and it won't be allowed to happen. Even if we win arbitration, they'll fail the "confidential O&D test". Which nobody will get answers to. And even if it all comes out, nothing will happen. Masters/Hoffman are wealthy men who'll be looked after and there's already a ticking clock on the corruption, so now it's about protecting their own interests and being bodyshields for the other teams. The fact Mike is trying to position himself - the least transparent individual in history - as the victim is ****ing sickening an'all.
