Not arguments in the sense of disagreement. Arguments as in debate. You were all for giving it up the other day when we're clearly at the 11th hour stage. Now you're saying De Marco tweeting the Sky Sports story is him distancing himself from it and it's clearly over. He'd likely have signed off on the statement given he's heading up their legal team. If we assume he did disagree, why would he then retweet it and give what seems like a tacit endorsement?
I’m giving it up personally because I’m sick of waiting. If it goes through then I won’t mind but I have invested to much of my life on this topic. I understand the NDM endorsement but I think it will have no impact on the ARB. The PL control that and it doesn’t matter who gets involved that one will be behind closed doors. The fact that no agreement is in place leads me to believe the ARB will go through. Which means they believe they can win that. Which leads me to the CAT case which is about compensation. I am reading between the lines here but there is a quote that they also want that to be held in private (I stated they would try that weeks ago). POSITIVE - Which means that they have failed to get it thrown out. BUT- That also means that they have not backed down and settled. YET!
On a separate note isn’t it ironic that MA wants transparency. When he is the messy transparent owner in the history of the club and..... We have extended the year end for the club accounts which by very definition is being the complete opposite of transparent! Hypocrite!
Don’t get me wrong. The PL is corrupt as hell and the whole thing needs investigating. But I think the PL are taking this all the way. I sincerely hope I am wrong!
Come on mate neither is going to start... The club has a smoking gun and the premier league are going to fold after this flank attack.
On a serious note, this action by Ashley should be applauded by every club outside the Big Dix. Why shouldn't a club be ambitious and aim for the top with the injection of new money or owners. What's the problem? Jack Walker took an unfashionable club from nowhere to a PL title by spending his own money. What's wrong with that?
