You gotta throw into the mix that they're meant to be losing Dembele, he's only got a year left and they don't want to lose him for nothing. I felt last season he was their best player, I know JCH scored the goals though. So I'd ask the question, are Grant/Marriott good replacements for him?

 

Video here, seems to like a dribble out of defence Maguire style. In that video he frequently plays as the left-sided CB which is interesting and won their player of the year in 19/20. Seems another very sensible signing

 

We already have x 2 left sided CB's.... Greaves and McLoughlin... we have x 1 right sided CB in Alfie Jones..

 

We have no idea whether McLouglin is good enough, he got nowhere near our side last year, never mind this

 

We have no idea whether this lad is good enough.... what I do know is that very time ive seen McLoughlin play he's been cool calm and accomplished... this time last year we had no idea if Greaves would be good enough...

The lad played 3 mins of L1 football. I thought he looked fine in the cup games but the league is a completely different dynamic and it's a big step up to the Championship
