Social inertia mate. Fear of change. Societal flux is only a good thing on a subjective level if it panders to pre-existing prejudice.

Sad but true. Always liked DMD. Time to put this to bed and agree to disagree.

    After all....

    Its coming home.....:1980_boogie_down:

    Again. Inaccurate assumption.

Think ehab would take the piss if fans through the gate paid the wage bill?

Tv money pays the wage bill. Its why he put his hand in his pocket in League 1, but defunded us last time he thought we were safe in the championship.

Unless fans go and actively support the club then nothing will change and no buyer will look twice.

5k passholders aint an attractive proposition.

Explain why it makes you uncomfortable then without saying you like a debate then refusing to debate then.

Taking the knee is on its way out. Even the Tokyo Olympics have banned taking a knee and raising a fist. Punishments for any athlete that attempts it.

There's only the England football team that are doing it. They'll stop after this tournament and I can't see any clubs following it on into next season.

    Pointless arguing about it.

So do you contribute financially to the club?

It's doesn't make me 'uncomfortable'. That's just one of a number of desperate assumptions you've made. Like the other poster, when you're reduced to personal comments, it reveals the weakness of your position.

And the same players and TV companies will all still be at Qatar, and the noisy minority backing the knee will still be watching and fully engaged, despite the issues with building the stadiums there. :emoticon-0105-wink:

    City don't take the knee.
Your last two sentences are spot on. But the one about Ehab putting his hand in his pocket in league one is a bit doubtful. His dealings in the transfer market the season before kept us afloat. By selling Grosiki who had months left on his contract and had who had been trying to get himself another club for three years and Bowen who we received an offer club and player couldn't refuse for.
I doubt very much if the Tv money received last season would have covered the costs of the ground staff.

They all did all season, until Magennis and Wilks decided not to in April.

When the season was drawing to a close Hull City did not take the knee. The gesture has run it's course. Do you think we will see it next season ? Because I don't.
