All this trying to upset and unsettle the opposition players and fans is mindless thuggery and a total embarrassment. The fans in the ground last night have absolutely no idea what being a football fan is all about. I should be wearing my England/Germany half and half shirt with pride this week but I am so disgusted by English fans behaviour I will just be wearing my Germany shirt to show solidarity with them. I think it's a becoming a side show now. It's become embaressing. It's time we all moved on and kept football out of politics. Do you honestly believe all the players taking the knee are happy with it, or are they just doing as they are told? Now, if they don't take part they are accused, like you just have, of being 'closet racists'. What if they are just footballers who just want to play football and do not want to be used as political pawns ?
When wilks amd magennis dindt take the knee there was no criticism from me. Just like ttherell be no criticism if they choose to.
The silences should last for 90 minutes, I like to hear what the coaches and players are shouting each other so crowd noise detracts from the match day experience for me.
