I said we would be 10th at bedtime tomorrow and after todays results its on. 3 points and we are there, wont be easy but just sit back and enjoy, the boys will click into place at Arsenal and the climb will begin. Rememeber who told you....
I'm afraid Syd it was all very predictable, if we had actually started with a decent team we would have done better, no strikers, Elmo and Catts to name just 3 mistakes which not sensible manager would have made.
This time next week we may in the bottom 3, okay then, I know we didn't do too bad today, but how far down do we have to go?, a decision needs to be made sooner rather than later, a new manager needs to be brought in now to see what he has to work with, who he has to get rid of & what he needs to bring in. I know a 2-1 defeat away to Arsenal might not seem too bad to some people, but we were lucky not to be 2-0 down inside of 10 mins, in fact all game we were lucky they were poor on set pieces.
Because I dont blame him for everything that is wrong, when Short says go I will back whoever comes in. Just my opinion, not asking anyone to agree.
Well I and others are always interested to hear what you have to say or think about the situation. If you were to offer a % for everybody you think is to blame for everything that is wrong as you put it, what % would you allocate to the board, Sir Niall, bruce, the players and the referees?
TBH I still believe something is not right behind the scenes. I dont think Bruce will survive and see him going around the end of November. Bent going then Gyan are big, big kicks and why have they not been replaced, is it down to Bruce, I just dont see it. Everyone, including Bruce must know its our problem, we could have won today with a top striker so why do we not have one? We could sack Bruce now but unless we get right, whatever is wrong, it will not help and its that question of why, why no LW or striker, Bruce made it plain we needed them. I dont know what is going on, I hear stuff, I heard about Quinn long before he was moved, I hear things about managers but it may all be bollocks. It just does not seem right and I honestly think Bruce has at least one hand tied. Just my opinions.
We sack Bruce. We have no means of improving with this squad. I am so f***ing angy - yet again. Our last chance of success lost. x
bruce didnt have his hands tied for the previous two seasons and infact with the money he had last season we should of been where stoke are now imo. He failed to achieve that and now he has less money to spend... what can we expect? bruce himself says lower your expectations... A manager like Peter Reid or Martin O'Neill wouldn't send out pathetic messages like that. Why don't we all just nod off for a snooze whilst we are on? If bruce can only achieve 10th with the backing he had last season, we can expect nothing other than a relegation battle if not relegation itself. Bruce has a track record and with 6 points from 8 games, the writing is on the wall already. Its not as if fans like myself havnt been predicting this to occur and here it is...
