I hate the Sun with a passion. No wonder England f*ck up every time, because the Sun and Daily Mail team up and slag them, their missus and their personal life off. How can you expect a player to play well when the rest of the nation is talking about who's bed he is warming up on a night. God I hate British media, and American as well, tbh I h8 journalists full stop. THERE'S ONLY ONE SIMON GRAYSON!
Even if they were critical of his management, people would always say that Grayson was a nice guy, just because he's a dullard. I've always said that as well as being the worst manager in the history of football, he's a self-serving piece of garbage. What kind of man walks out on a 12 year old boy to be with one of the slappers who work at Elland Road? It's a measure of the man that he is, and that makes him the manager that he is. He's far more interested in keeping himself in the job than bringing real success. He'll always make sure that he just does enough to convince people that he's doing a good job, rather than actually doing a good job. It's time the people who think he's doing a good job woke up, be it fans, the media, Ken Bates or Shaun Harvey, and it's time we had a proper man and a proper manager in charge of our club. And, no, it's not my wife he had an affair with.
Let's keep this thread about the affair please. I agree fully that it's an awful thing to do and every bit of stick he gets from opposition fans for it will be deserved. Edit: on another note, his wife will be glad to drop the surname so she doesn't have to be known as the horribly jarring, half-rhyming Tracy Grayson any longer. Maybe he did her a favour.
Who knows what was going on with his marriage before, for all we know it could have been falling apart long before the affair. It's pointless to speculate about a man's personal life and character based on a story in a tabloid. He's our manager and he's doing a good job, that's enough for me right now.
The proper thing to do if it had been falling apart would be to get a divorce and then make it official with this secretary. Having an affair when you've got a kid is a selfish and irresponsible thing to do and the official site have effectively confirmed the tabloid story if you had any doubts. Anyway, I agree with your last sentence, though I think that's a matter for another thread.
I agree, but I think I can safely say we've all done selfish and irresponsible things and we still have no idea what the actual circumstances were. He shouldn't have done what he did, clearly, but we can't judge as we weren't in the same situation and don't know what we would have done or what was even going on at the time.
He's been our manager for three years, we don't know him personally but those of us with our eyes and ears open have seen enough to know what he's like. Deep down nobody trusts him, they just convince themselves that they do because they need someone at the club to connect with and that's certainly not going to be Bates.
It`s Clowntime`s birthday? Sod off you prat, what happened to SG happens in the real world day by day.Your hands have been hovering over your keyboard for a long time.Just go away you bore everyone you insect
FFS this thread is starting to sound like a lecture from the catholic church and they are full of hypocrites
Great to see we have so many perfect individuals posting on this forum. Obviously all with impeccable morals and have never done anything wrong. Well done lads
It's basic decency to get a divorce before you start sleeping around with someone else. Imagine how his kid feels. Anyway, we don't have to moralize but I do the same for other footballing figures like Giggs, Terry and Rooney so I don't see why SG should be exempt from a bit of judgement too. So in order to criticize anything at all, you have to be perfect? That doesn't make sense. When I **** up, people can criticize me too. Everyone can see that what Grayson did was wrong. Perhaps this pressure has been one of the factors for his improved job performance recently so it's been a blessing for Leeds. I respect him as a manager, but like Clivetime says, the argument that he's one of the nice guys won't really hold any water any more.
It's perfectly possible for nice guys to make stupid mistakes like this. At least SG told his wife rather than try to brush it under the carpet. IMO that shows more than anything that he knew what he did was wrong, not something I would say about Rooney, Giggs etc.
LeedsIn Essex i hope for your sake Pags dont get to see that coment...Or your life wont be worth living.....Id sugest you do a runner to the other side of the moon...LOL
We don't know how she found out, but if he did tell her you're right, that shows some balls. There were rumours that he was shagging one of the secretaries when he was at Blackpool too, mind.
How can anyone on here actually judge him as a person? So he's had an affair...okay, he's not the first person to ever do that. Personally, from his interviews etc. he seems like a nice guy, whereas some players/managers say insulting things towards other people that make you think they are an unpleasant person. Ken Bates' media conduct comes to mind. Alright, he deserves the same stick as players like Rooney/Giggs but atleast he hasn't got a super injunction and tried to sue twitter.
"Tracy, his wife of 16 years, had no idea until he confessed and moved out of their home." That's from the Sun article.
