You've missed it, straight after today's game. First tournament win against the krouts in 55 years, one game at a time, but we are just enjoying the games.

We beat them 1-0 at Euro 2000 in a group game. Shearer scored. That was a tournament win.

Do you, Naughty Paddy, Forza and WJ all share the same internet provider?

Only, you evidently watched the game but none of you appear to be able to post right now.

Luckily, Del Paddy is coming round on Saturday so I have lots of goodies on order for him. I think my favourite is the life size Gareth cutout I have ready for his room. His Mrs will pee herself, I know that because she normally does when she gets on the sherbets with us boys :emoticon-0148-yes:

I can’t speak for the others but personally I nodded off early in the second half watching the most boring team left in beat the poorest German side seen in years

Maybe I’ve been spoilt watching Leeds United play under Bielsa but whatever floats ya boat Marcos <whistle>

Bore the opposition until they fall asleep then hit them late on.

Southgate is a man with a plan.

I concur though, that German team is about as weak as they get. Could have made it an easier night. Either way it's hard to criticise when the team is winning. Personally I think with the quality of players we have we should back ourselves a bit more and get at teams.

Looking back i still can't see Bamford not adding to England. As for Sterling how many times does he do the hard stuff and then run in to a defender and give the ball away. The good teams left in will take advantage of that.
Put harry the statue kane in the Leeds team and he would be useless.

I just don’t get the excitement that other England fans do when we score or win. Find them quite dull and I don’t have the passion that I do for Leeds. Good to see Phillips doing so well and feel that Bamford could’ve done a job up top as a replacement for Kane. He’d at least add something extra with his pressing and I think he’d had scored the chance Kane had at the end of the first half with his left.

The fact is that England beat Germany and there were fans in the stadium. The support was top drawer and they all had enjoyed a live game.

Ok so we have beaten the big enemy Germany, a German side that was below par compared to previous sides.
Kane has to step it up, he is not fit and being carried somewhat.
Maguire is also, either unfit or very slow, when Muller went clear he was so slow to get back, look at the footage again.
Luke Shaw passed the ball forward less than half a dozen times, one of them was for Sterling to score.
It saddens me to say but when Grealish came on he was the difference.
Ukraine are up next but beware they will step it up somewhat, if we get through that the danger team in England’s path I believe is Denmark, they know how to mix it and spoil a teams rhythm, remember when the Danes won it last!! they didn’t even qualify for the tournament, beware.
Oh nearly forgot, the FA’s little yes man Slimegate is a lucky fkr so far with his team selection, will it last?

I'm the same Foolee I'm just not getting the excitement as yet I thought England v Germany yeah that's going to up my blood pressure and even told my wife I could get a bit vocal but it just didn't happen.
Yeah i cheered when we scored but it seems logged into me that we don't ever win anything for some reason.
Next game my wife will be more excited than me she's Ukrainian so will be a interesting watch in my home lol.
7/1 for Belgium to win the comp still seems very high to me when England are 15/8 favs
We won't get a better chance of reaching a final and having a chance of winning it but I said that in the World Cup too.

Cheers Chesh <cheers> tbf I couldn’t support a side consisting of players I can’t stand from clubs I can’t stand.

But each to their own I guess - just not for me mate.

I like to see Phillips do well but that’s where I draw the line.

Only team I follow is the Democratic Republic of Leeds United
