There is not one team that hasn't looked vulnerable in this tournament so far. All of them have struggled a bit here and there. I thought France were almost nailed on to win the thing before it started but now I can't make up my mind which Country has looked best.

Switched it off after an hour. Got fed up with the screaming falling down bunch on the pitch from both sides and surrounding the Ref every time somebody got touched. One game where I would have loved both sides to have gone out. I thought doing the Ref thing was to be stamped on in this tournament. With the talent on show for this game they should have been better than that.
Well I've watched most of Croatia v SPAIN. What a game, extra time and a 3-5 result. But the cheats and divers won. Morata, I flick my front teeth at him.

France...3-3...Switzerland...F/T.....extra time to come.....the Swiss could still win this. Magical four minutes in the second half....missed Swiss penalty....then two French goals....but the Swiss come back from 3-1 down and France look vulnerable in defence.
I watched all of the Croatia v Spain game and I agree with you notdistant that Spain are a diving bunch who frankly after a while I was begging to lose. It was exciting to watch in lots of ways but also spoiled at the same time. Why do they have to do this nowadays. Watched a lot of the France v Swiss game also and to be honest it became the same as the afternoon game. France chucking themselves down for fun. The Ref seemed more than a little biased to me as well. The penalty decision should have been dead easy for him and yet he gave nothing until VAR forced him to. It was right in front of his nose so he must have seen it. I've switched it off now as I've had enough of the fall down as if shot stuff. I have a suspicion that it will got the same way as this afternoon although I hope upon hopes that the Swiss kick arse.
Swiss through 5 - 4 on penalties after M'Beppe gets his saved. Have to say I'm quite pleased with that.
Swiss win 5-4 on penalties after a 3-3 draw AET.....and they deserved it. That was a great game of football....quality match all round. I don't know what game you were watching sensible.....I didn't see any falling down . That was a good Ref....he was praised by the pundits for the way he controlled the match.
You'd obviously make a good Ref then Mr Plymborn. Obviously you didn't think it was a penalty before VAR was used either then. Still, it's all about opinions in the end isn't it.
Mrs Plym has had a long standing appointment for 1640hrs today ? For some reason I thought that we had an 2000hrs kick-off...not 1700hrs as it actually is......should be home before the penalty shoot-out and the misery that it brings.
How does that song go? I don't care how you get here just get here if you can. Agreed it wasn't a fantastic spectacle but it was good enough to proceed. Sterling very wasteful then of course he scores again. Kane redundant and then of course he scores one. It's why I never bet on football.
Clash of the Titans really, I think both sides were well aware they could lose. I wasn't keen on Southgate's team before the start but he was 100% right. We stopped them playing and that foundation let us give them as much trouble as they gave us. Maguire was immense as were Rice and Philips. Grealish made the difference at the end when legs were tired. Monumental result well earned. We must take Saturday as seriously.

So Ukraine it is then. The Swede tackle looked bloody awful and the still photo even worse. But, you would also have to ask what the player was supposed to do to win that ball and he did get the ball about a yard in advance of the Ukraine player getting there. It was always going to be a red card but I kind of understand why the player went for the ball the way he did. The game in general was as boring as feck. I sincerely do hope England don't take their foot off the gas for them.
