Too big a gap between the two CMs and Kane (ie, the player that's been taken out of midfield to enable us to have a third CB)

It would be better if Kane drops deeper and plays as the supplier to Sterling and Saka

 

One will be off at half time with Henderson to come on to get the blame here.

I'd take Phillips off; is better than Rice imo but he's also the live wire that's more likely to go in rash again.

 

The ball is at his feet in the six yard box. First he is stretching to get it cos he is slow.

Then he kicked it too far then couldnt get there and it still hit saka on the heel.

Nightmare.

 

It is more likely southgate will make england more negative his half and low is more likely get a hold of his underperforming team and stop them lumping it long.

If they get it down and pass the germany can cut this stuff out.
