I definitely haven't seen the first and I've seen little of the second.
I don't know why you're so up in arms over Mourinho being appointed, anyway. You loved it.

Levy's made plenty of mistakes recently. I don't think that I've seen anyone say that he's faultless.
Feel free to provide an example of someone doing that, though.

Pochettino did a good job for us overall, then bombed horribly in his last year or so.
Some people would like to see him given a second chance with some of the squad strengthened.
This is probably because of a lack of suitable candidates for the job, for the most part.
I don't think that I've seen a single name put forward that is backed by the majority on here.
They're either not good enough, too negative, connected to dodgy agents or some combination of that.
There's normally a list of decent possibilities. I'm struggling to think of any. It's very strange.

There’s been nothing for a few days now on manager rumours. Given Spurs usually keep leaks to a minimum (as opposed to the circus that has happened so far in this process) I wonder if Levy and Paratici have battened down the hatches because we’re actually getting close to announcing something.

This is me choosing to be optimistic rather than despairing that everything is on fire and we have literally nothing lined up apart from shooting for some managers after the Euros, which I’m not in favour of.

Please feel free to SPECIFICALLY tell us what Scholar and Sugar
did that did not put the bar "very high" for the likes of Levy in comparison ...

Do you actually disagree with that statement?

Scholar nearly bankrupted the club and Sugar really didn't understand football very well, in my opinion.
He was in the game to get the Sky deal through and sell these:

    Don't do other peoples' homework
(though in the case of Scholar you haven't, and Sugar not fully) . <ok>

Frank de Boer has left the Netherlands job.

    Please Levy, don’t do it.

Takes me back. Wasn't it between him and Poch when Sherwood left? I remember I wanted De Boer back then. Glad no one ever listens to me.

I think there was a brief link with him back then but it was mainly van Gaal who was being lined up as the new manager after Tim, he then went Utd and we got Poch.

Give a wide berth to anyone who may be relieved of their duties in the Benelux region, just to be sure

Considering he only starts on Thursday, I'm calling temporary BS on this story.

After waiting over 10 weeks (and counting) who ever gets the job is gonna be in for a rough time when the atmosphere becomes toxic if and when our start to the season is a soul crushing disappointment ... my expectation a well low but think we'll struggle not to drop like a stone below that pitiful level!

I mentioned Klinsmann before when he effectively auditioned for the job on TV when a BBC pundit a week or so ago.
    So why not Klinsmann?

Because his career as a manager aside from his stint with Germany has been sub-par. Great bloke but not the man for us right now.

One thing that has me mildly concerned is just how many leaks have come from the Italian press in the last month, which makes it look like Paratici either doesn't know there's a phrase such as "off the record" when he's chatting with journos, or journos know that if they let him talk long enough he'll blab something that he shouldn't
Mainly because his reputation as a coach is All Motivation, No Tactics

Certainly that would have made him a decent shout once we'd exorcised the energy vampire that was sapping our team's strength one half time chat at a time given how shot of confidence our team was at that point, but for a rebuild? Yikes

I'll let Wikipedia do the talking for this one...

    Bayern
Following Klinsmann's time with Bayern, Bayern team captain Phillip Lahm wrote in his autobiography that Klinsmann's tenure with the club was a "failure" and that Klinsmann's lack of tactical instruction required the players to meet before kickoff to discuss strategy.

    Hertha Berlin
On 11 February 2020 he announced via Facebook that he would step down as coach after having been in this position for just ten weeks.[55] Despite stating his intention of remaining part of the club's supervisory board, he was ultimately barred from doing so as Hertha's investor Lars Windhorst publicly criticized his behavior, calling the manner of his departure "unacceptable".
