    This half of the draw is there for the taking if England can beat Germany. The Netherlands are nothing special, and from what we've seen so far, they may even not get past the Czechs.

    Yes, but they didn't look good. And the first goal came after an unnecessary corner following a goalkeeping blunder, plus he should have done much better with the goal itself when he was caught in no-man's-land. I know I'm biased, but for me he didn't look as good as Krul.

    When there's a 5-3 and a 3-3 on the same day, and Italy are perhaps the most entertaining team in the tournament, I know that I have slipped into an alternative universe.

    If England beat Germany on penalties, that will be the final proof.
