I know the manager picks the team, but the players have to take responsiblity as well. Some are very half hearted with their efforts and I hate singling out individuals but Marvin has to take a lot on his shoulders, yes he has made the U21's side but he must give 110% every match for his club. The central midfield need a kick up the rear end, dare I say drop JE and bring in young Jenkins they are to similiar to play along side each other or the Prince. The defence despite the goals conceded have not played that bad, I have no answer to our keeper issue Loach is just not dependable and if Gilmartin comes in he is in a lose, lose situation. As someone else said on another thread our wingers need to get to the dead ball line before crossing rather than just lumping it in the box in the vain effort one of forwards may have got in the box and will be able to do something with it (fat chance). We are in a sorry state, there are teams worse off not many but we are not bottom (yet). God I need cheering up:( oh yeah one more night to do then 4 days off:)

I have to admit I was against that as the kids are not manly enough for the rigours of the League, but now we are running out of ideas amongst the so called men, could the answer be as simple as bring on the boys?

I see your point H, but in the middle of winter, the kids legs are better suited to the ground at the moment, not wholesale changes bring them slowly, slowly catchy monkey and maybe a few points. We need some spark to spur us on:)

i agree, slowly...definitely slowly...and yes, you're right Al, mid winter might not be the best time to start....we have some very difficult matches coming up..so maybe Whichelow now...or Murray...and Murfin will be on on Wednesday probably...

Al how is what we have brought in apart from Dicko any better than what we had ! whichelow was playing well and got a great goal against Derby , Britt ,Murray ,massey Thompson , mingoia, Hodson etc all grown up with the club , and have been replaced by a load of crap! The age doesnt matter if you are good enough to do a job ,then give them the chance to do it! or wait till were in league 1 and they all move on coz there championship class! or above!

I agree mate but wholesale changes is not the answer, we have to bring them back one or two at a time. Saying that though a new look front line would not go amiss! (mind you that is their problem 'missing') <laugh>
