You are probably right. He is 22. He is a world cup winner but his domestic career is a "so what"? By the end of this summer he could be a euro and world cup winner just like other French stars but if you look through that French first 11 only 3 play in France and one is mbappe and the other is his psg team mate at cb. Pogba has 4 serie a medals to go with his double. Benzema has all sorts of medals.
And get top players go to both these countries.. So are you saying France is **** cos it’s dominated by 1 team? Even though those countries listed are also generally dominated by 1 team?
I've called Italy a **** league for years. If you think France is the place to be then fair enough, you're entitled to be wrong mate
What is the main thing players whinge about when wanting to leave one club and go to another, want to play in CL. well with PSG that is virtually guaranteed and the wages are good so they will always attract top players.
Still waiting to find out why France is more/as **** as Germany Spain and Italy? Not avoiding the question are you?
I never mention Spain or Germany, you did. You seem to think just looking at the number of winners over a ten year period defines a league for some reason, it doesn't. France, Italy and Germany are dominated by one very good team but the rest are generally poor bar ther odd one here and there. They're a richer version of the Scottish league! Spain and England are obviously the top leagues. You come up against better teams and players each week. Mbappe staying at PSG would be like him purposely losing to play division ten in Fifa!
He's got the ability to because the next Messi / C.Ronaldo but he's never going to reach that level at PSG. Proven by the fact Neymadge went there to get out of Messi's shadow and he's regressed. At 22 he's already lost a few years too. The only reason either of you gave for it being a good league was that PSG provided guaranteed CL football. Great, he should have joined a Arsenal when he was 4yrs old then!
Where do Scotland and Wales fit into here - are they **** leagues Ignore I didn’t read properly Found it I still have questions about the strength of the Welsh league though ?
I mentioned Spain Germany Italy because you said that France is **** because it’s dominated by 1 team. however Germany and Italy are also dominated by 1 team but no one is calling lewandowski **** for scoring goals for Bayern and that he needs to move or he’s wasted his career. However as I mentioned France have had as many different winners in 10 years as Spain Germany Italy so although its dominated by 1, the number of winners is spread out as much as those. Im trying to understand why staying in France would ruin his career. What league would he have to go to in order to not ruin it?
French league is semi pro mate. Italy is not, germany less so. Both are decent technical leagues. Spain is as dominated by 2/3 but has a lot of high quality mid ranked teams. Again if french league was so good why are 9 of 11 of their first team playing in germany, england and Spain? Anyone decent gets out asap and outside the fact that they get paid more they also get better playing better football. Finally this argument could be also made of a player at ajax. They could be the worlds greatest but playing in Holland is no good to them. They also.have to move to improve.
Chelsea are at it again. They have gilmour who is a really good player but are loaning to Norwich rather than replace the ****e kovacic or Barkley or whoever in their squad. Abraham about to be sold Tomori sold. James, seeking replacement in hakimi Gilmour out on loan. If I were mount I'd be getting worried. Abramovich is out to buy anything and everything and any progress made on the youth side is going gro be ploughed under.
Ruin is probably a bit strong, waste is probably better. He could achieve a lot more than 'gimme' medals in France. Notice you've still not answered my question btw
Even the best French players don't want to stay in France and none of them have made their name playing in France. In contrast the best German and Spanish players have made their names playing and staying in Germany and Spain.
What was the question? Still yet to get any kind of answer as to why mbappe would have wasted his career in France but lewandowski is a great despite playing in a 1 league team for last 7/8 years
I see some yokels have put a banner outside Rafa's house saying we know where you live, dont sign. Classy as always.
