The issue for me is dortmund have despite all the young talent failed to keep the on pitch standards up so will be worried about losing cl place if they sell haaland. Theres a certain element of quality football, quality of life and obviously quality of rewards to consider. PSG offer massive rewards to players, it offers Paris and middling to good weather and the sights and all of that good stuff but it simply cannot offer anything bar semi pro stuff. If ajax could offer the wages its be the same level. Barca and real were offering all 3. The english clubs frankly cannot offer the weather or the fun times outside London really. I would say a lot of players are bored stiff.most of the year as are their families. The issue for me is neymar for example is largely after deleting his career having gone to psg. He has not been in the mix for world player at all.
If you want to be remember as one of the best players in history, you don't play in France. Mbappe as already spent too long at PSG in my opinion; a club were you can only do what's expected or fail, the bare minimum is domination of domestic trophies.
