Pretty strong rumours flying around at the moment that Haaland will be making an appearance at the bridge, if not this coming season, the next.

That’s a pretty big statement of intent that comes at an even heftier price tag of around £170m, or so numbers have been quoted.

CHO apparently has been given permission to speak with Bayern, which I personally feel is a mistake given his talent and age, as well as Ziyech being offered to AC. These last two are much less substantiated but I few would be bad business.

maybe that means TT wants to keep Werner on the wing. He’s been great there all season. Interesting summer ahead, especially with the European shop window opening up.

Should we be in for Haaland?

I wonder what the insurance premium is for a 170 mill player ?? Imagine a ruptured achilles in the first couple of games !!!
Haarland sure looks the business, though at an "alleged" half a mill per WEEK, I suspect some players might be unhappy. No doubt Audi is well aware of the need to keep the Team spirits high and will work that stuff out with Management.
Whether we get him this year or next, we still need another top striker as well, since Tammy and Giroud look like moving on.
CHO is a priority. He needs to play, and perhaps a move to Bayern might be best for his career, sorry as I would be. Still think Pulisic might be the one to go instead, very erratic player.
I'm looking forward to seeing Ampadu, Guehri and Conner Gallagher come into the squad , they could all be massive under Audis' teaching.
Nothing for it but to sit back and see what falls into place. Trying to work out transfers is the way to madness.

I wouldn’t be paying that much for one player but I’m not in charge. I’d try and get him next season for his release clause but if he goes elsewhere have a back up plan.

Looks like Giroud is staying put now but I think Ziyech might go, not sure he suits our system.

Haaland has a buy out clause of 75-90 Mil at the end if next season, chances are he will stay at Dortmund for next season, then go to whoever. Personally I would like Lewandowski for next season, he only has a year left on his contract and would be cheap compared to some of the other offerings.

Us or Manchester United is the very latest rumour from rumour control. 41 goals in the last 41 games will make Haaland - aged just 20 - an extremely expensive player to sign.

If united sign him sancho and a centre half they'd be a contender. Chelsea seem to have too many attackers as it is so that may influence the player. City may go for Kane, I think haaland is better and has longer in game but would be close on £200 million for who ever gets him

Latest "rumour" has Haarland agreeing terms with Real (though he's supposedly done the same with us) PLUS Hakimi signing for PSG.
If Haarland becomes a free agent end of next season, he might stay where he is until then. Imagine how much he'd get if any Club could sign him without paying the 170 mill transfer fee !!!!!!
Just realised he would have a 67 mill Release clause next year, still a whole lot cheaper than his asking price now.

Too many attackers! But how many of them score? Any quality striker would easily find his way to first choice in our team your logic is flawed Dino.

Well I'm used to seeing attackers who don't score :) can't be too bad winning champions league and another year fir last season's signings will see them aclimitise to the country even more imo.

But the midfield and defence can't keep up this incredible level of play, with a potent goal scorer the FA Cup and league title would have been ours to loose.

What terrible problems to have eh? Hopefully your youth can Come in and improve things. Although the manager doesn't seem the type to develop youth. Going to have to change business model though as can't hoover up youth from Europe and loan them at profit with new work permit rules. Brentford and barnsley finding the same on different level.

I think we're all used to seeing strikers who can't score now !!! Morata and Werner not exactly prolific.
Your point though about Werner, Havertz and possibly Ziyech more acclimatised this season is very logical, and hopefully accurate, it sure worked for Drogba and Lampard !!! Keep hoping there is a striker lurking somewhere in our youth set up, mid fielders and defenders are there !!
Interestingly, there are 2 Chelsea midfielders apparently going to be given a chance in the preseason, both at their best ,exactly what we lack, power and pace, they are Bakayoko and Loftus -Cheek. Can Audi work his magic with either?? Interesting.

Add Tammy to that list throw in Giroud Morata and a few others Drogba is the only one that came through. Werner is useless cant get into the German team need to get rid of him asap.

I think Werner has done enough to earn another season, though obviously not for his goals. Tammy I am not worried about losing, and Giroud pulled out some vital goals with very limited game time, but he needs to move too. Any strikers in the youth ranks?? I don't get to see the kids games anymore.

If look at the stat's, and we don't have anyone in the top 40 for goals scored Timo was 50th level with Tammy and Jorginho. You should see some of the names that are higher than these three it's unreal. Timo was 9th in assists Chilwell next best 29th. Passes is surprising Dave made the most for us and is 22nd. These are not great figures but the trophy count is, that one trophy discards all of these stat's so I'm going to predict a very good season 2021/2022. If we get a Goal scorer.
