    Yet more insults
    2016-2017 £137.4 billion
    2020-2021 £212.1 billion
    Increase of £ 74.7 billion (52% increase)
That's a lot more than the usual increase
cue: more insults from someone who can't admit to being wrong

Not sure watching yourself shove a cucumber up your own arse is what mirrors were invented for.

I shall revert you back to the "long-term average". I shall say it one more time...it is below it. You are the one that is wrong. Your own link even says so. You really should have read it first before posting it.

Also, it makes more sense of you put the percentage of year on year increases, as opposed to 4 years apart.

That was what was announced in July 2018. Much more was spent in 2020-2021 than was announced in July 2018.

The graph is easy enough to understand
The increases from 2009-2010 to 2018-2019 had yearly increases of up to £3.5 billion
The increase from 2019-2020 to 2020-2021 had an increase of £61.7 billion

The article clearly states that the increases from 2018 to 2023 will be below the long-term average. It is your link not mine.

As I explained, this announcement was made in July 2018. A lot more was spent in 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 than the announcement stated.

As you know, I am no expert at reading graphs but it looks very much like the extra £61.7m is Covid funding hahaha ****ing hell you have excelled yourself here. It is Covid not Brexit that caused the increase.

I am certainly not wrong. Not my fault that a lot of people on this thread think that Peter's word is Gospel.

we could afford to make the payments because of brexit
do you think they said: "Covid has given us an extra £68.4 billion" as if the money came all the way from China?
