Wyn Davies for me as well
    1969 v Burnley
    Gallowgate End
Header from a corner delivered from the strawberry corner flag
Was head and shoulders above anyone else and powered in his header with a caser, none of your plastic balls we have now

John Tudor (Supermac scored the 2nd) won 2-0
At home against West Ham 74
I was in the Leazes end (when it had a roof) and sat on the dead thin barriers they had then (not for long)

I loved to watch wingers like that who were prepared to stick out wide and just concentrate on beating the full-back. He didn't seem to be particularly quick but just had the ability to drop a shoulder and go past the defender.

First game was the Coca Cola cup against Bristol so it’s Sir Les for me. Also the first name I had on the back of my shirt.

    Google told me that
    Hippofatamus is -
“A combination of a fat chick and a hippopotamus. It literally means a completely fat and disgusting girl that uses food as a substitute for character.”

    which didn’t seem particularly polite!
