He’s played predominantly on the left for us and has linked up brilliantly with Tierney (when he’s been fit) He’s also played LWB. Sometimes him and Pepe switch, but yeah he’s probably stronger on the left side. Like you say though, Southgate won’t drop Sterling for him. And tbf Sterling has scored twice already so it would be a big call to leave him out.
People will accuse me of being a fanboy but if we get Germany we need to **** Kane off for Rashford. Like it or not his pace running at players will practically guarantee us penalties and dangerous free kicks. We won’t pass around Germany, not in a million years.
Greenwood leads the line in Qatar. You can hang your hat on that bro. That’s some proper fanboy statement.
Think I've been watching a different player to you. I just see a guy who gave the ball away more than any other player on the pitch in the first 2 games. Does seem to get into good areas for tap-ins though.
So so late to the party but i bet you couldnt name more than half the team lets alone the squad before the start of the tournament. Their squads are no where near as talented (first 11 at a push). I would say only belgium and france have a pretty much complete first 11 where you think they are all strong. Germany could maybe be there but is probably on par with us. Portugal and Italy, you are having a laugh but they always play well as a team.
Bobby goin straight for libbys football knowledge like a viper strikes its prey. Could be good this Oofft nearly forgot the tags @Libby @BobbyD
It’s not his job to be conservative and hold onto the ball though, it’s his job to gamble with it. And to get into dangerous positions, which he does
Chiellini and Bonnuci are better than any of our CB's. Jorginho and Verrati are better than any of our CM's. Portugal I'd say not miles ahead but Ronaldo edged it for them for me. Even at 36 he's still miles better than anyone we have. Third best team? **** off Bobby
