I am joining Gary Neville in thinking if Germany had qualified in the same way we have they would be everyone's favourites. 3 clean sheets, players coming back from injury, players performing like they have to be picked. Add to that we stay at home. Bring on anybody, nobody looks head and shoulders above anybody else.

matterface, tonight he realised that if the ball hits the ref at any time that it is an uncontested drop ball to the team who were playing the ball..where the feck has he been? got the goal and sat further and further back, less and less attacking (sound familiar?), as i said elsewhere i really hope it is a bit of tactics from southgate and the team to not show our hand too early and keep plenty in reserve and 'just qualify' which we managed, although 2 goals from three games will not put any fears into other teams.
