Spain v Sweden was pretty dull. How have you watched every game when they've kicked off at the same time in the last couple of days?
I have watched every game that was on the main terrestrial channels! We are unimaginably dull tho. I am emotionally invested and still bored out of my mind.
Rashford has done virtually nothing ….. There’s no creativity and when we come up against who move the ball quickly we’re going to get taken apart …..
Saka has been England's best player. I look forward to seeing him many more times in an England shirt. Arsenal better put a massive fee on his head.
Thought we were okay first half but yeah we're not big scorers, definitely should have had a second here. Assuming we see this out though I'm not gonna complain about winning the group without conceding a goal. That was miles off in real time. No idea what the delay there was from lino.
That was a depressing waste of 90 minutes. Hard to like this England team. Is George Graham in charge?
First time ever we have gone through the group stages without conceding a goal. We will no doubt have to play an awful lot better than that to progress much further but it’s a very good foundation to build on. A few players have been found out, and a few, particularly Grealish and Saka, seem to have been born for the pressure of tournament football.
Oh you enjoyed that? Can we stop the pathetically childish thing where we tell people to leave the board when we we don't like their opinion? My opinion on this forum, which is a place where we give opinions, is that England are a tedious team. If you don't like it then why do you get to tell me to leave?
I have a feeling our players have been watching old Football Italia highlights and might be practising catenaccio in secret. We are boring to watch, but happy with 3 clean sheets in the group stage. Next round will be a completely different challenge though.
It was a joke mate. You literally said you can't take anymore so I assumed you weren't gonna watch any more games. Not mentioned leaving the board at all and I think you've taken that the wrong way. I've enjoyed seeing us win a group without conceding, and am enjoying the prospect of playing Germany at a half full Wembley in the next round.
Did what we needed to do. Still think there is a lot more potential with the players we have than we will ever see with Southgate as manager. It’s weird to have not conceded a goal because I didn’t think we looked particular solid at the back tonight or against Scotland (didn’t see the Croatia game). Looked quite uncertain and shaky against limited attacking sides. I still think we lose quite comfortably to the first quality team we face,...soooo the next game then. I’ll end on a more positive note though, we did what we needed to do and are through to the next round and fortunately in football, if you’re still in the competition, anything can happen.
Fingers crossed Portugal somehow beat the French and finish 2nd as I can only see one result if we play France or Germany. We would have a decent chance against Portugal
No! Germany are going to win their group. England might just have a chance against an indifferent France or Portugal as neither will want.to.lose tomorrow and the team finishing third should progress. If that is the case they wiil have to.do it on having around 30 per cent of the ball.
