When Saka got fouled in front on the box, i got the 'this is JWP territory' excitement before I could control myself and remember JWP wasn't on the pitch .

Ended up not being fussed when the ref didn't give it.

 

I've heard the Brazil players asked if they could play for Guly instead.

 

Fair comment. I'd like to see Phillips a bit more box to box but he's not really needed to so far in this match.

 

Rumour has it that covid-19 had to self isolate for ten days after coming into contact with Guly.

Can’t believe how different the referring & use of Var is in this tournament vs PL. Excellent referring & very light use of Var again tonight.
