    Agree with this.

Just to note as well, winning the group gives us a harder second round but possibly an easier Q-F and S-F should we get there. If we can’t beat a better team in the next round then we don’t deserve to advance, no point in thinking about it beyond that.

Three Italian goals would currently lead to Wales and Switzerland needing to be split by disciplinary record. Wales have one less yellow card coming into this.

Don't see that personally. The Swiss could well get another mind.

Turkey have been absolutely horrendous in this tournament, probably the worst side.

Italy playing well, but Wales clearly have an attacking threat. I’d say Italy will win, but can see Wales ending Italy’s clean sheet record.

That is harsh. He stood on his foot. If it was higher than yes, a red but that's a yellow for me.

Nah that is a red all day long. He didnt even need to do it, it looks like he plants his foot deliberately to me.

John Harrison in biased commentary shocker.

It was top of the foot for me. I think yellow would have sufficed.

I’ve seen challenges like that in the Prem where it hasn’t even been a yellow!!
Seems they were told before the game that challenges like that would be a red. Maybe FIFA are tougher than the Prem? Personally I’d love to see those given as a red in the Prem as it can really be nasty and it would stop those sneaky “stamps” which happen in many games …..

So four points and a zero (or better) GD is, realistically, the current qualifying mark.

Any side who fails to meet that will either be out, or will need a favour from another group.

Oof, Billy Gilmour is isolating for 10 days after testing positive for Rona. That won't help the Scots one bit.
