Not sure what the Southgate gameplan was. At no point did they ever really go in search of a goal. It was almost conserving energy for Tuesday kind of gameplan. As for Scotland, they huffed and puffed. Hustled well. I hope they beat Croatia on Tuesday and go through. They are an honest side. If England had that workrate then they would be some side. Southgate has some questions to answer on that performance. Is that the best he can get out of this lot?
Media need to go after Southgate in a big way instead of calling him a genius. A bag of ****, a wasted opportunity and when you think of the attacking fire power we had……. Sterling ****, Kane ****, Mount ****, James ****. We played a crap team who made us look worse than them.
Did England want to win that? They played that game as if they were 3-0 up and qualified. Nobody broke sweat to win that ball back off the ball.2 mins to go we had a throw in and no urgency and so laid-back. I just saw a team out there just going through the motions. Well done Scotland at the end I wanted them to get a draw because we just were not interested. Taking Kane off too wtf yes he played **** but he played **** coz the team never gave him chances or the ball.
Joking aside the foreign refs are so much better than our lot. Just goes to show it’s not that difficult to ref a game well.
I like that ref. I've seen him a few times and he seems to get most things right but the big reason I respect him is that he tries to let the game flow. He doesn't take any **** and tells players to get up and get a grip of themselves.
Well if England finish 2nd in the group then in all likelihood we get France next round. The Czech Republic game is now a must win.
