The point about the missed kicks is valid. Despite our handicap, Hook missed two routine kicks and Stephen Jones one. I don't rate 1/2p's distance kick as routine; close but, unfortunately, not close enough. I have carped about our kickers in the past but I'm not getting into a blame game here. The whole team did us proud and I salute them to a man. For many of our lads, this was their last chance to live their dream. Those dreams have been shattered by a man who, in my opinion, was not fit to take this game. Will he show shame? No. He will hide behind that cowardly scenario of "interpretation" as so many others have done in the past. What I would like to see, but there's absolutely no chance of it happening, is for the WRU to not allow this man to ever referee another Wales game in the future. I would go further and extend this to our regional club matches. It won't happen but I hope that when our players next run into this character on the field, they will leave him in no doubt as to how they felt cheated of their destiny. Finally, is it a coincidence that the unease that I and many others felt on hearing of his appointment, was so hugely justified? Mr Rolland, for me it would be too soon if you never refereed another game again. You've wreaked your havoc; done your damage. I hope you're proud of yourself.
I take it you favour him having to crawl through the Gurnos Estate also then! I would say Townhill but I wouldn't want him dirtying the streets of Swansea with his presence!
We could hold a real reception for him as he lands in Cardiff! I would say with ickle Shane getting the last blow, however our players have really done us proud, not just with their performance, but their demeanour, dignity and comments post game. RESPECT TO THE WELSH TEAM..... superbly high standards set and fantastic role models for every Welsh fan young and old out there.

As an Englishman, I would just like to say the Welsh boys did you proud today. What a pity the referee spoilt the game with the unjustified red card. Frankly, I hope the French get hammered in the final, whoever they face.
Heard it on the radio and Brian Moore was furious, that said it all to me. Got to Norwich and the local police said it was terrible, then the Norwich fans told us it was wrong, now I'm home and seen it and Dallallio and Pienaar say it was wrong. I'm fact it's only the twat of a French ref thinks it was right. I don't mind losing fair and square but we were cheated and he should never be allowed to referee Wales or in Wales again an absolute disgrace
I'm English through & through, ( except for an Irish dad. ) But that decision totally ruined the game. Of course it was wrong, A World Cup semi-final, and he (the Frog Referee does that!!!! ) Losing is losing, and fair enough, it's a bitter bloody taste and it hurts, whoever it's against. But that game was a forfeit after that moment. Totally ruined. How they could appoint him to run that game is beyond me, a total travesty. He shouldn't oversee any game in future, nevermind just the Welsh. At least you can hold your heads high and be proud, and know that even though you were cheated, you performed fantastically. Welsh rugby has an exciting future. All the best lads.
On the positive side you look much better placed going forward than the farce that is English Rugby at the moment.If you keep Gatland i think you are a shoe in for the Six Nations and with such a young squad,serious contenders for the next World Cup.Welsh Rugby hasn't had such a rosy future since the days of JPR,Edwards and Bennett!
