I can only imagine it was sone sort of sentimental reason to do with first major game at Hampden and others having served Scotland for far longer. Mad though when you see the difference in what he brings them

Why pick on Sterling? Captain Marvel (Kane) seems to have disappeared apart from a poorly directed header.

Sterling and Kane are both disappointing.

 

Not good enough if this side have any ambitions of mounting a serious challenge for the Euros.

 

What I expected really. Scotland all action and energy. England not really knowing what to do when they have the ball. Question is, can Scotland keep it up and can England settle down and find a way through. I’d take Sterling off and we need to get Kane more involved.

I expected it for 20 minutes. The fact we didn't stamp authority on the game for the whole half is worrying.

 

Just those two? What is it with these very good players for their club, manage to look very average in an England shirt? And it is not down to Southgate as it has been like this in large parts since the early 70s.
