No idea, I didn't go, from what I heard on the radio they were the better team. The fact that some people think the BBC is biased against us is genuinely embarrassing though, I highly doubt the bloke at the BBC thinks "well, I'm not going to give Hull City any credit, the ****s". You lot on here are worse than ****ing scousers.
Humberside. I know, I know, "Humberside is rubbish" just like all other radio stations and media outlets.
seriously, you're a boring negative ****. No-one's debating the validity of our point but the reality is that we hit the bar twice, missed two one-on-one's and a decent chance at the near post for McLean, none of which were mentioned by the BBC report. Call it bias, shoddy journalism or laziness it's still not right. A point was probably fair enough today but that report still doesn't reflect the game
please log in to view this image Tell you what TWF, here's an indication of the truth from some who went.......and don't forget unlike the BBC they ARE biased!! An Accurate Appraisal??
I think he means "from the bits I decided to pay attention to when Brighton were attacking on the radio". ****er. Either he was listening vey selectively or Hubershite's commentary has gone from **** to ridiculous.
5 Live said that a draw was a fair result, both teams created chances. The result reflected the difference between the teams, not much at all. In the Premier League it felt like we got a raw deal from the BBC sometimes so it's nothing new. It was usually due to other teams playing badly than us playing well!
Well I was on the right side and came home (on a) hoarse so that guy can feck off! Annoyed me greatly when I heard some of them singing "All this way and you still don't sing" as well as "Shhhhhhh". I thought the chanting was good in the first half, not so good in the second. I enjoyed the "practically French" chant.
will be interesting to read a selection of match reports in today's paper to determine whether Tonywarnersface is correct that we were hopeless and Brighton were the vastly superior team, and as for embarrassing - glad you know that is a word Percy, bear that word in mind for your future ani-pearsons postings.
To be fair to TWF, he's admitted he didn't go and all he's said is that from what he heard of the game Brighton were the better side, and that even if that wasn't the case then it's no reason to assume journalists sit and think of ways to rile us. PS. You're still a cretin, Percy.
A couple of us did say to him he should put his energy into cheering for the team instead shouting abuse at our own fans.
To be 'fair' to TWFy, he would have been waiting for a chance to pronounce the performance and result as being ****. I listened to RH too and, though there were periods when Brighton had the edge, Swanny and Burnsy rated it as 'ebb and flow'. They said "EITHER SIDE COULD WIN THIS", more than once. The fact that both Basso and Ankergren were called on to make some wonder saves would seem to point out that both teams' defences were not red hot. Sure - Koren, Fryatt and McLean should have scored, but so should Dunk and CMS for them. It sounded like a draw was the fairest result - 0-0, 1-1, or 2-2.
Only someone who didn't go to the game would say Brighton were the better team, a draw was a fair result, it was very even, but I was dissapointed that we didn't nick the win, for 75 minutes I thought we were going to. As for the match report, it looks like it's from the Brighton Argus, the BBC should be ashamed of themselves, though personally, I couldn't really care less.
