Yeah bizarrely we're the ones who've pulled the plug on this because supposedly Paratici prefers Gattuso and apparently even tried appointing him when at Juve... I've decided I'm gonna trust Paratici, I don't like this one bit as I really don't rate Gattuso as a manager but if he sees something in him and has a clear vision then it's only fair I give them both a crack.
A hashtag of #NoToGattuso is trending on Twitter whilst #LevyOut is also doing the rounds. I think it's obvious the club keeps a firm eye on social media channels like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and so I wonder how this reaction has been relayed. As I mentioned earlier, the club were apparently wary of the initial disgruntlement on social media at the potential Fonseca appointment so I imagine they'll be sweating a bit seeing these two flash up.
As of 10.00pm tonight Sky and Sky Italy are still reporting that even though a verbal agreement had been made the deal with Fonseca broke down for "financial reasons" Where you seen something different?
Ally Gold and Dan Kilpatrick mate. They're both basically the unofficial mouthpieces of Spurs, you won't get better and more reliable info on our club than those two. They **** over Sky when it comes to Tottenham news. BBC supposedly reported it too, even mentioned how Fonseca was "stunned" at the change of decision from Spurs. We were rumoured to be giving Fonseca £3m a year, the rumoured deal for Gattuso so far is between £2.5m-£3m, so it's definitely not a financial issue.
I always worry about unofficial mouth pieces, it usueally means you get the news the club want you to hear
I have been watching this fiasco the to and froing with other posters and I have to say my passion for the club I thought used to be there is ebbing away. Whatever the reasons for missing targets mind changing is mind blowing. I watch the socials, come on here hoping for something that will reignite some excitement, but every minute, hour and day goes by and the suits at Spurs still spinning the wheel of fortune hoping for the right result. My grandad who introduced me to Spurs would be horrified and the current goings on. Oh on another note, Gattuso no thanks I'd rather watch Leyton Orient ! Rant over.
I agree, I actually laughed out loud when I heard that Gattuso could be the head coach. It’s bewildering how shambolic Spurs have acted in this manager hunt.
I can`t help thinking this is all Levy propaganda put out there to send the fans into meltdown, so that when he appoints Roberto Martinez the fans will see it as a result and be delighted, whereas before they would have been underwhelmed. Never misses a trick old Darth.
Looks like the club are finally listening to the fans. at this point do we need to collectively decide who we want as the next manager and make it trend on Twitter? perhaps we should do the same with players we want to join the club? Make it happen guys. If enough of us get involved we might see ourselves with Messi and Ronaldo come deadline day
The way it’s going on now. I think it’s going to be a manager who is currently at the Euros. Probably Martinez or Southgate
There is very little to like about Tottenham Hotspur Football Club at the moment... Uninterested owner Nauseating and incompetent chairman No coherent plan for appointing a new manager A new DoF with close connections to parasitic agents Little connection between owners and fans The ESL fiasco Furloughing staff A paltry 2 League Cups in 30 years An increasingly toxic fan base Star player wants out due to lack of ambition Ridiculed by the media Etc Etc
Wouldn’t be surprised if we go for Parker now. Feels like he’s the only one left that so far we seemingly haven’t rejected or been rejected by.
I have a feeling it could be one of those, too. sadly, Martinez won’t have the likes of KDB or Lukaku if he becomes our manager, which covers up how average he really is. And southgate. Well…
I expect he’ll be livid. His wife posted a photo on Instagram saying her goodbye’s, apparently. Only for it to be pulled at the last minute. I expect he’s now probably thinking it’s a bullet dodged. not only are we struggling for options, but the entire world is seeing how we’re handling ourselves. Even the fans managed to get us trending, and subsequently the board have listened. we’re a laughing stock. Last night even my Tesco delivery driver piped up. He heard the euro’s on in the background and asked me which club I supported. We then had a 20 minute discussion about Spurs and what the hell was going on. If he hadn’t have told me that he wasn’t a Spurs fan, I would have assumed he was @Spurlock
