Patrice Evra accuses Suarez of making racist remarks

Why is it? If Ferdinand was called a 'black bastard' or a '******', I'm sure that'd wind him up. Besides which, how would Suarez know this? If he said it to Evra, the chances are he'd have said it to one of the others too.

Equally, how do we know that it wasn't both ways? Suarez doesn't have a particularly good grasp of English, so he probably wouldn't understand what 'spick' meant, if it was said.

Chelsea groundsman - The groundsman was deemed to of used offensive and discriminatory language. Evra was wrong in calling it racism but he wasnt lying. Just mistaken.

Suarez case is still open.

So Evra made a claim of racism which WASNT racist your saying

 

Well if he heard the remark, which he must have done in order to complain, he surely knew it wasn't racist...
If he heard it, but could decipher what was said, then it quite simply could have been anything.
So, he either heard it clearly, and claimed that it was racist, or didn't hear it clearly and claimed that it was racist.
If it was the former, he was lying, if it was the latter, then it may be a 'misinterpretation', but it's slander at the very least.

 

Like many people these days they chuck the word about a bit. In this case he was mistaken. He wasnt lying as the commision found that the chelsea groundmans had used offensive and discriminatory language against evra. He was cleared of racism.

As SuarezLFC pointed out in the other thread, ****ing immigrant isnt racism.

Theres no case for slander and the groundsman was found to of used offensive and discriminatory language. Evras description of the abuse was incorrect but abuse did take place.

 

Who gives a ****. It will get thrown out and Evra will look more a **** than he already is.

My advice to him is get Al Sharpton...maybe he will have a chance to "prove" his bullshit allegation.

 

Pretty certain United have got video evidence.

What's racist is the banner on this page. All of the black players' faces are covered by the white overlay, which not only obstructs them, but also makes them appear more white than they are. The 5 faces/heads you can see are all white.


In today's society, I could actually have a claim there.

 

Video evidence that does not have any audio to it, NOR a complaint from other United players. Sorry, but just like you, he is going on a fishing expedition.

 

At the moment its to hard to call. Suarez is a bit of a **** at the end of the day and he is the type to wind a player up. Whether he is the type to resort to the level of a racist is another matter.

Theres a small chance this could ruin suarez career. At least in the premier league. I hope not as he is a great player. If hes guilty he needs to be made an example of, its a great chance for the FA to show they are now tough on racism.

if hes not and it is proved evra lied, evra should be punished. 5 game minimum ban.

So when making racist allegations people, Patrice Evra is sometimes found to be mistaken

 

SAF wouldnt of let evra risk it without some pretty damning evidence.

Maybe the United lawyers have had a look at it or at least someone with some know how.

We dont know yet though, cant be saying Suarez is innocent or guilty yet can we.

If he said it '10 times' in the 10 or so seconds max. that the incident took place (during the taking of a corner), not only is Suarez the world's fastest speaker, but others would have heard.
