Naturally. I mean he will probably do a decent job in terms of results. Generally does. But he's ex Liverpool and plays properly boring footy. I'd be gutted if I was their fans with the backing financially they have. A real downward step from Carlo obviously so a bitter pill to swallow.
At various stages he looked like he was gonna get it right but they dropped away tamely. Not sure if put too much into basing everything around Rodriguez. As soon as he picked up that injury, DCL stopped scoring and they fell away. I think if he'd stayed a few years he'd have got it right. Great manager, incredible the way he has adapted continually over the years.
Didn't really stay long enough to judge but I do think regardless if its Real Madrid, if a club has invested that much in you, its a bit **** to go running. Purely on results basis, over the course of the season average job for me. Still a great manager.
He had more than a full season and 2 transfer windows If it was rafa you'd tear him a new arsehole. Carlo rafa Jose they're all riding waves just like the rest of them
As I say pretty average job by the end. 10th is where they'd expect to come with that squad. They would have thought Carlo could make the difference and he didn't. Fantastic manager though. His record is incredible.
Nah 10th would be an average job with that squad and that's where he finished. Maybe 8th at a push but no higher. Just don't have the depth. **** on them for sure though. Still a great manager and has recent successes so not living off past glories like some.
