I assume you're talking about longhorn, can you direct me to the post / thread If it is he used to have a decent contact but not so sure now Edit - found it in the Charlie Wyke thread not much detail and Prehab has countered but no sign of Dennis At this point I'm not that concerned.
I think you're right to not be concerned. Dennis was clearly getting info some years ago,but not much during the KLD takeover,so it's probable his previous source isn't as productive as before or isn't there any more. The problem with some is that because they don't see £30m being lashed out on new players, they go into reverse and assume KLD has got cold feet with LJ and isn't willing to spend anything. That flies in the face of the evidence of the money being spent e.g.on pitch and recruitment of staff, for which there would be no point if there is to be little or no investment in players. There's no doubt that not getting promoted last season was a blow, but it's logical to assume LJ will be given a second chance, but not a third,so he needs to hit the ground running in August. There are people over there, like MadBob,who seem to delight in cryptic, incomplete, mostly negative posts. I would follow what @Prehab26 says rather than listen to any of them, and he seems generally positive about the whole thing.
Very sensible post and I totally agree. As to the part quoted above I've no idea why people post, in essence, such rubbish. Any of us might get the odd snippet of info which will be gratefully received. To continue posting utter bollocks just to be popular or seen as ITK.... dont get me started
I wonder if a handful of players or staff aren't happy going along with KLD's changes. That sort of thing is to be expected, I guess, and won't be allowed to last long.
Think, no hope, a few will have to shape up or ship out. It happens in most major restructuring you either get on board and prove your worth or you snipe from the sidelines and are left behind or let go. Not everyone will be happy but that's to be expected.
My personal feeling based on everything that I'm seeing from journalists etc is that we won't come anywhere near spending more than say half a million on a player this season, and neither should we need to. I'm a fan though, so I still think that Sanderson would be nice
One of these would be canny..... Good to see that RAWA tagged the club in the tweet. Over to you Kyril.......
First time since ellis shorts tenure that we've had any work at the sol (wonder why!), and naturally I reverted to a 5 yr old gawking away and taking photos of the new pitch.
Good to see so many things going on with the infrastructure at the club. Many things happening and all good for the future.
Love stuff like this. Are the rail things in for the lighting yet? Wonder if we swap dugouts, I think it was mooted a while ago. The exec boxes are getting done out as well. Was talking to a lad who was working on them, apparently they are trying to get about 10 gigs next year
I saw this article about the art of turf. Good read: https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ect-football-pitch?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other
If there was a constant video link of the inside of the SOL, like they do with Peregrine falcons nests, I'd bet we'd take a look
