Heiðar Helguson skoraði sitt 100. mark í enska boltanum þegar hann kom QPR yfir gegn Blackburn í úrvalsdeildinni í dag.
Heiðar skoraði markið snemma leiks þegar spyrna sem virtist eiga að vera fyrirgjöf hafnaði efst í öðru markhorninu.
Heiðar hefur leikið með Watford, Fulham, Bolton og QPR á Englandi.


Heiðar Helguson scored his 100th goal in English football when he came to QPR against Blackburn in the Premier League today.
Heiðar scored an early goal in the game when he seemed to cross the ball but it turned into the top corner of the goal.
Heiðar has played for Watford, Fulham, Bolton and QPR in England.

Well done HH, shame he didn't score his 100th for us though.

I'm reliably informed that the last time a QPR player scored a Premier League goal at Loftus Road, Helguson was a teenager.

 

Yep, he'll probably say he meant it!

 

I have watched this a few times and consider it was a deft chip/lob by Helguson with the goal his intent, and his style on penalty shots bears this out. We definitely need to try another striker though, and would be curious to see how the young, forceful Mathieu Manset (Reading) would fit in. Currently for the fake hoops he only comes on as a late sub, but often makes an impact on the game.

 

I've only seen it once, and said cross straight away.
Nice goal if he meant it.

If QPR are looking for an extra striker, I have every confidence that Chris Iwelumo will follow in the footsteps of the likes of Helguson and Smith.

 

In seriousness I think there's an outside chance, but I'd sooner take the million quid and let someone else take the gamble.

Cross for me but it went in and thats all that counts, we cant buy a genuine out and out goal at LR at the moment.

Glad HH got his chance, always works hard for the team and for me not far behind the more lauded players last term in getting us up. Would like to see Buz given a run out as well but Warnock doesnt seem to have much faith in him.

 

I've seen it live, on Football First and MOTD. I still don't know. I've been trying to gauge from HH's reaction, but that hasn't helped.

I'm going to plump for a shot. He deserved to score from his original header getting across their defender. On collecting the rebound, he took his time and calmly placed his shot in the top corner.
