It's more than that. Mendes is in partnership with Wolves owner, Fosun. They bought Wolves as a vehicle for trading in players as they saw this as the 'only sustainable way of making a profit in football'.
Well its even more than that as it's a con job imo. The agent is harvesting players and getting them at artificially low prices moving them to wolves for a fee (his first payment, maybe even second if acting for the selling club as well) then he warehouses them there and moves them on from there for another big fee. So is he serving the other wolves owners interests? I think not. However wolves fans seem delighted with this arrangement yet if you told them they were a feeder club or red bull Salzburg they would go mad at you.

You don't notice them for most of the month but whenever there's a full moon they come out for one night. Thankfully you can kill them by shooting them with silverware.
