Thought we deserved the 3 points and was dissapointed that we sat back after scoring, De Gea did well with a couple of good saves.

"On a final note I'm getting increasingly worried about our finishing, it's costing us points "

Absolutely right.I think we may be relying too much on Suarez.Would have liked to have seen Bellamy come on for last 15 mins along with carroll. I know the other guys did a good job but we create a lot of chances but our conversion rate is poor.Oh for another Rush or Fowler (notice I didn't mention Owen ) Maybe look at a finisher in jan...but who?

Know what you mean but we were just unlucky today as well as De Gea pulling off a couple of good saves.

I think Suarez will eventually start taking them chances, he's shown he can take difficult chances against Sunderland last year and Wolves this year, and let's not forget he had a great goal to game ratio for Ajax.

Kuyt will always chip in with important goals as will Gerrard, Henderson has impressed me too and I'm sure he'll get a lot more goals here than he did at Sunderland

And we know Carroll can finish, the boy just needs a few goals under his belt to start him off

When I heard the line up before the match I knew we were coming for the point. It's an improvement on last season but we should have had a more creative influence.:steam:

How about responding with with a football ball point, sorry I forgot UIR cant unless it is in the language of 8 yr olds.

fair result? well you could say it is because both teams only scored and conceded one goal each. However, ask yourself this, what manager was happy to come away with a draw and what manager was disappointed?

That would be because you were at home and we were away.

So utd would be happy to draw every away game? Its not as simple as that though is it? Would fergie/fans have still been happy with the draw if they had wasted several good chances to win it>

No, but looking at our previous meetings in recent times, I think Fergie was very right to be cautious about the game. We're happy because usually we get **** all at Anfield.

Not at all, and I'm not happy with it either, but if we draw away to our rival contenders (see how I included you lot in that?) and beat you at home we're not doing too bad. So far, so good on that front.

Fergie sent us out to draw today and it worked, not that I agree with that selection one bit.

I think both teams needed to be cautious, talking more about how games actually went though rather than what you would take before the start, and in that case liverpool are the more disappointed with the result.

Agree with what you are saying about drawing away, but see my pointy above about how the game went rather than what you would take before the start.

I agree up to as point, as soon as there was some semblance of a familiar, attacking team we looked more dangerous though. The whole first half was ****e and the second was 50/50. I honestly don't think you can complain too much about the result given your only goal was from a set piece.

Think the second was a bit more than 50/50 in our favour, watch it again on match choice tonight and you will see just how many situations we had that would normally yield a high percentage of goals, whereas utd had what? one chance that they took,

So, as I say yes in some ways the draw was fair but I am sure had the roles been reversed you would have been feeling a bit miffed with one point.

Yeah, probably. You've got to take your chances though, eh?

To be honest, I'm still bemused by the team sheet but but on the whole a draw is a good result.

Who is this 'Adams' and when did he sign for Liverpool??

If you are refering to Charlie ADAM, then if you watch the replays you'll see Rio Slowpoke Ferdinand clip his ankle and trip him. Could have been a second yellow, so I think Manure can count themsleves lucky he stayed on the pitch.

no point trying to talk football to that ringpiece, it always has the same result.

1: footballing point goes way over his head.
2:he argues the toss, making himself look a twat in the process
3: he spits dummy out and storms off thread
4: he then makes false claims about you
5: he then derails whole threads calling you names but avoiding football debate.
