Thank the heavens he’s ok. Had to turn it off. I felt sick when I watched it. Horrific for his family and team mates

 

Amazing. So so lucky. In that perverse it could've been much worse way.

 

Horrendous, was watching that live. Glad it seems like he will recover from this, because at one point it looked like he might have died. Credit to the medical personnel, the ref and all the players who reacted and responded.

Have to say Pat Nevin did a good job dealing with it as it was happening. The female commentator though, Vicki Sparks I think, wow talk about getting it all wrong in every conceivable way what a dunce. And some of the camera cuts were questionable. Although I won't cry/emote about it as seems to be the case on twitter.

 

Interestingly the BBC have already redone the commentary from the incident with Jonathan Pearce talking over it. I've had the live broadcast still going ... very curious

Good to hear Eriksen was awake. Be incredible if he managers to come back and play again at some point but at least he’s awake

 

Yeh i genuinely thought he had died at one point, bloody awful watching it live.

Emergency services amd his team mate kjaer (who apparently made sure he never swallowed his tounge) are fuking hero's for being so swift to respond to him.

Hope he can make a full recovery but i fear for him that he may not play again
