I've seen a picture on twitter via Facebook of him leaving the pitch and looking like he will be ok. No guarantee it's from the same match.
Seems to be legit but still have to be careful. Thank goodness though - quick thinking by medical staff saved him.
Following the medical emergency involving Denmark’s player Christian Eriksen, a crisis meeting has taken place with both teams and match officials and further information will be communicated at 19:45 CET. The player has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilised.
As full a recovery as can be reasonably expected, assuming he pulls through he won't play again for sure.
Following the request made by players of both teams, UEFA has agreed to restart the match between Denmark and Finland tonight at 20:30 CET (TBC). The last four minutes of the first half will be played, there will then be a 5-minute half-time break followed by the second half.
Sounds like the players and Eriksen asked for this to happen which is fair enough. Maybe he feels watching the game will take his mind off what happened ?
It's not certain he won't play again Fez - a similar thing happened to Daley Blind in a pre season match. It was diagnosed as myocarditis - they fitted him with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator and he was training again 3 months later.
Just seen the first Belgian goal: how that is not offside is beyond reason. Pathetic interpretation of the law being applied. I don't doubt that the officials are correct but that is nonsensical.
Yes - by law onside but would be offside in previous years. Belgium looked strong with Lukaku up front.
Didn't watch any of the game, but these stats make the result all the more amazing. Was it really this one-sided? q
Denmark missed a penalty too but tbh after the restart they looked flat and didn’t create too much understandably.
