Things are far from perfect at the moment and it appears to be overflowing onto the board. There's been a massive upsurge in the things listed in the title of the thread. Can everyone calm it down a bit and rein it in? Thanks.

Fair point PNP, I do ask you treat everyone the same though. Some people seem to say things and nothing is said while others get scolded like they’re naughty school kids or comments deleted without explanation.
I think we should cracking down on the abuse, fully support that. But also the provocation cannot be ignored.
If you have such a complaint King then you need to discuss it. You can do that here or private message the mods. It's a pretty damming comment that you make of how we moderate the board and that needs to be resolved. However please make sure that you are talking of abuse against posters and not opinions you do not like.

PowerSpurs is controversial. He does it in a very unconfrontational way and is happy to have his ideas challenged. He's also one of the few people that I've ever seen admit to having their opinion changed on something during a discussion on here. I didn't think that was allowed!
You might be right. None of us are perfect and I'm sure we've made plenty of mistakes with the moderation over the years. If people think that this is an issue, then they should raise it with us. We're happy to discuss it.
Nevertheless you have thrown a pebble into the pond, which you are entitled to do, but for whatever reason you clearly think that the moderation leaves something to be improved. In which case it is very unfair to make such statements and then not explain what you mean. None of our mods are precious about what we do and as you can clearly see from our posts here, we are open to hearing from people if we have got it wrong. But it needs to be specified if we are to do anything about it and as I have said you can use the PM I have opened to you if you do not wish to discuss it in public. That of course is open to any of our posters, we have recently acted upon such a private communication and are always happy to talk and to listen.
I honestly just meant what I typed and nothing more, I didn’t mean to offend anyone. I’ve no issues with the mods or how this forum is managed. If I did then I wouldn’t have been here posting regularly for over 10 years.
