Your immune system then creates antibodies to defend against that spike protein. In this way your body learns how to protect you against the virus. The mRNA vaccines do this without using the actual virus. The traditional old method vaccines use a weakened or inert strand of virus to trigger a response. That old method of vaccine science has been used for decades for such diseases as influenza, measles, meningitis B, mumps, polio, rubella and yellow fever. If you do not have a vaccine, then you are reliant upon your body creating antibodies if you contract the real virus. The risks associated with the vaccines that have so far been approved is lower than the risk associated with the actual virus; therefore, it would seem to be logical to take the lower risk approach to prevent the higher risk, even though that risk is very small. Of course anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists do not understand that logic.

The text in the meme was abridged – shortened. I would have thought that somebody as knowledgeable as you would have heard of lab rats. I will help you out a little. Another one that cannot be bothered with facts... The vaccines have been shown to be at least 80 per cent effective so they do stop lots of people catching Covid. They do not stop people being hosts (about all that you have got right). Vaccinated people are very much less likely to end up in hospital (more than 80 per cent so) whilst the unvaccinated do end up in hospital. Clearly you are an anti-vaxxer so there is no point trying to use easily understood logic on somebody so brain dead.
