That’s it now. Your prediction is set in stone. That’s the date you have chosen and you cannot change it. Ever.

If it doesn’t happen on this date then you are dare I say it “wrong”!

Says who? If I get to next Wednesday ill pick the one after that

Depends what the contract is awarded on. It’s not always price alone, in fact it rarely ever is. KSA don’t have the infrastructure in place to broadcast to the region and the deal includes 21/22 season so that’s the biggest factor right there.

If you take your Black and White striped specs off for a while, it’s like Amazon trying to take on Sky for broadcasting of PL, they’re not ready, despite the fact that they’re infinitely richer than Sky.

Possibly and that is why scrutiny of the agreement is likely to be the focus going forward.

KSA may not be ready just yet, but they will be and that scares a lot of people.

This is in fact correct chaps. Although who knows if SA had the infrastructure to broadcast it. They reckon it’s 60:20:20 price quality deliverance or something like that.

Still the fact is it smells off. With the connections. And the Bein letter to the PL clubs (asking for them to seriously question the takeover) shows that they will do anything to ensure Saudi do not get anything over them.

It could inadvertently help NUFC's case.

I think that is in fact the case. It shows in some way the way in which Bein works and their influence on other entity decisions.

Bein sports where even broadcasting political propaganda, on their live streams which directly aggrieved SA. And they wonder why SA shut it down. Then the piracy started.

I'll take the 16th and the 23rd if that fails the 30th and then I'll say its never going to happen until the next Wednesday and so on
It’s ok fella I was just kidding. I said 28th. Only because I believe this is the starting date of the ARB.

I also think MA comment about wanting it all done and dusted by 1st July @Darren Peacock's Ponytail was more significant than we think. Ashley never goes on record saying things like this

Pile risk into the award criteria and I think BeIn’s bid looks stronger even at $100m less. It could be that power is playing a big part and that Khalaifa is using his influence, but until all the ducks align or UEFA allow the package to be split, or the bids are way too far apart, it’ll always go to the tried and tested provider.

Fwiw I think Qatar will lose interest in football after the World Cup, they want to showcase the biggest and best ever WC and we all know it’ll be the worst, it’ll be awful, because they don’t get that it’s a working-class sport.
