Don't worry mate, in a few years once the stadium and NFL start paying off Levy will have you up there "pushing" teams again
Unless Pochettino or Ten Hag becomes our manager the poor sod who gets it is going to get slaughtered the minute we lose a match or two. The atmosphere at games will be poisonous. I have no idea who the guy is that everyone is mentioning so have no idea what to expect but as he will be viewed by pundits, fans, current players and future signings as 5th or 6th choice he will immediately be under enormous pressure. Seems to be a mad way to prepare for a new season

We should aspire for their levels of success, who cares if we end up like them. Anybody who claims they would give up on the club if that happened, would not go anywhere, they would be celebrating with everybody else when we are lifting trophies I can assure you, following the club you love is not that easy to give up.
Seems very short sighted to me. Unless the team picks up the new WHL will look very empty on ECL nights, carling cup games and for unfashionable league matches. EL games at the old ground only used to between 25 and 30,000 for group games and that was with discounted prices. They can not piss off a serious chunk of fans (furlough, ESL, ****e football and very high ticket prices) and then expect those same fans to part with hard earned money (when people have suffered furlough, are not getting pay rises, are worried about jobs etc.) to watch dross football at inflated prices. A football manager with a proven record of producing attractive football is essential for this season or the club will risk civil war with the fans.
So there is Spurs with it's 35,000 capacity ground struggling to compete with the nouveau rich of the PL era. We are no where near competing with Arsenal, United or Liverpool, never mind City and Chelsea. Spurs are a public company the only way to grow is to invest in the club and it has to do this by either borrowing or increasing it's turnover. The model Spurs have used is to invest in young players with potential who are either sold on for a profit or graduate to the first team to improve that. Building a new stadium is the only sure way to increase the income long term. Investing in training is designed to improve and develop players and hopefully produce quality players in a sustainable way. Being able to rent out the stadium for NFL and Boxing or Rock concerts is also a money producer. The profits from these activities go back into Spurs as a public company. This is the first really coherent plan of development seen at Spurs that is, and has, taken the club up a level with the potential to go to the very top. You cannot ignore the pandemic and the effect that has had on the progress of the club, but you can say that due to the sensible decisions made by Levy the club is not in a dangerous position financially. The rest depends on the chance factors of having the right manager in place and buying the right players. We can all see with hindsight that these decisions are not always right but you don't employ Mourinho because you want to fail. It didn't work out but the reasoning was not wrong. The pressure from fans who expect their team to be the best and when it isn't make all kinds of accusations, largely misinformed, against the people who run the club makes the job much more difficult than it already is. The craziest call of all, is to want Spurs to throw itself into the market place IN HOPE that we get the right kind of owners. This is naïve to the point of sheer recklessness, and why? People have very short memories or in some cases no memories at all. Where we are at the moment is not a good position because we have no manager, but in fact as most of the players are away on International Duty it's not as bad as it might be in a normal season and it seems we do have a Director of Football in place already working on team development. I just hope we pay attention to Levy's statement about progressive football and pick someone who can deliver that, preferably from Northern Europe or the British Isles.
So just got around to watching this later than I had planned and anyone (like me) who doesn't know much about Fonseca I'd recommend doing so too if you wanna get an idea as to how he'll possibly set up. Tifo is one of the best YouTube channels around, up there with Coaches Voice for me. Classed as an entertainer alongside Atalanta and Sassuolo - and boy do we need some entertaining football again. 343/ 352 at Roma but has played 4231 at Shakhtar. Likes mixing youth and experience together, so I'd imagine chances for Sess, Skipp, Rodon etc. Plays out from the back, so a ball playing CB will be a necessity. The WBs should flourish in his 343/352, Reggie's attacking is great anyway and his defensive duties will be eased a little. Sess played in a 343 at times this season at Hoffenheim and Doherty played in one under Nuno for years and done well, so we have people that'll know the type of system. Think we'll need a commanding and creative midfielder - £15m for Sabitzer looks even more appealing right about now. Interesting yet risky appointment if it happens, like what I've watched but no experience in England is always a potential issue. If it's Paratici's choice though then I've gotta trust him, I want the DoF to have a good restructuring here and if he believes Fonseca is the man to lead the first team and work with him with transfers then let's go.
If you love the club you would embrace it and celebrate with the rest of us, is this really what 20 years of ENIC has done to people.
This is obviously Paratici`s influence, only time will tell whether it is a good appointment or not. But I will get behind the new set up and hope it works out. However, the worrying thing is, we now have a DOF with zero PL experience appointing a manager with zero PL experience. No doubt we will see some bargain basement players coming in, who will also have no PL experience, and we all know how that can sometimes end. I hope this is not the Bale, Baldini and AVB summer all over again, only this time with Kane, Paratici and Fonseca as the stars of the show.
I just want someone who I (and the majority of fans) believe will stop the rot, start improving the way we play and our results and show enough talent and commitment so as to the improve the mood of the fans. I want someone who's in it for more than 5 minutes and will have the time and backing to rebuild the current ****ing mess. Zorro's had 11 jobs in 15 years, has never played or managed in England and if appointed, is going to get slaughtered by a fan base who have had enough of Levy and his incompetence. Given all the circumstances, this would be a new low for Daniel. Bring it on...
Who is saying the club should be run by murderers, the club should be run by people with the same level of ambition of those at the clubs that win most of the trophies, criminals or not.
Roman is a piece of **** with blood on his hands amongst other things. I’d turn my back on Spurs if someone like him or the murdering Saudi royal family bought the club in a heartbeat. I’d support the breakaway FC Hotspur of Tottenham club that no doubt would be made if scum took over and I don’t think I’d be alone.
