He asked someone how often they'd seen him in the flesh in the last season - which seemed rather specific and with the point of getting the answer "none" since stadiums have been closed. Then asked someone else essentially the same question. Just seemed an odd tact when discussing a player.

Everyone's talking about Moncur being cover or backup for Honeyman. Right now we're not exactly awash with seasoned midfielders so he'd likely be straight in!
It's just Chazz being Chazz. It feels like he's attempting to stop people from sharing opinions on a platform made for sharing opinions. I don't get asking how often they'd seen X player in the flesh, even clubs use video footage as the initial point of scouting.
Exactly I’d want to share it wouldn’t you I saw David brooks play against our ressies a few years ago and he was superb head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch and said so on here. Moncur has been a pro for ten years I’m sure we’ve all seen bits of him now and again but anyone who professes inside knowledge etc etc really don’t Maybe howden and maybe Steven The rest just copy n paste I hope he does well and it’s a great signing
My point was you don't have to see someone in the flesh to know what sort of player they are or their quality. You seem to have this aversion to discussing something without getting personal so best to leave it there.
Person 1 - I saw someone play I thought they were good Person 2 - When did you see them? Person 1 - couple of years ago, I rated them Person 3 - I'm offended that you asked Person 1 that, you've clearly got issues Huh?
Let us just enjoy the fact that we have made one signing before pre season has even started. That’s not something that we have often had the luxury of recently!
Indeed, great trend these last two seasons and a big difference it makes. Bit of optimism around the place and sounds like two more players are coming in the door in the next week.
