Dismal, poor. Not worth £26. Kightly was Ok, so was maps. dont know where the goals will come from, sords looks like his England caps have gone to his head and is waiting for a "better" club in jan... Prince cant be any worse than this shower
Very very disappointing. I don't think we could have done anything about the goals, they were two very special ones, but it was a poor performance. I completely hate the booing, it's wrong, it's unwarranted and it gets on my blinkin' nerves, but Dyche has to do something, and fast...otherwise we're in for a very rocky ride. Interestingly, i thought Forsyth had a poor game today, yet Mr H and his friend, who haven't seen him before thought he showed a spark of something, and were quite impressed (and Mr H is never impressed). Dickinson did his best, they all seemed to work hard, (except Sordell but you know how i feel about Sordell)...but where are the goals going to come from? One interesting observation was when Iwelumo came on, and Garner started to walk off...and spotted Sordell's number..i think Garner seemed a bit surprised by that! Anyway, i took friends, who were supposed to come to the Coventry game last year, and who are hard to impress, and let's just say...they won't be coming again in a hurry...i just feel very sad today...
Sorry what I was scared of happened H getting negative reports from some of our more optimistic posters is indeed worrying! concern levels are going through the roof! I really feel if there is no change in policy soon we are in L1 what is worse is we could struggle there too!
I honestly didnt think there was much between us, apart from the goals obviously. Unfortunately we cant keep losing these types of games or we will get relegated. Thought Palace fans were class as always.
Agreed in defence were weren't bad but attack wise apart from Kightly lacked quality and eventually that will catch us out each week. Doesn't help when your best forward looks so half hearted. Did Big Chris even touch the ball when he came on whilst the Palace guy smacked in a quality goal...
Deeney was a bricklayer right , we need to play him ,let him brick up our goal with cement that lasts for 45 minutes!
Our friend went to see Bournemouth play last season and thought that the quality of football there far outshone what he saw today. I'm not surprised, today wasn't great, but you're right..we would definitely struggle in league 1 to come back up...we'd be there or thereabouts with the way we played today. The thing is, i know we can play better, and i know we can get the results, i just don't know why it's not happening.
The performances are getting worse each week. We are now not even creating the chances of a few weeks ago. Very depressing.....the time to act is now. Not in 6 weeks time. At the moment we are relying on 3 other teams being even worse than us! Doyley has played over 300 games for us, you would have think in that time he would have learnt how to control a ball. My 4 yr controls the ball better. Why play Sordell and Garner together? they both make the same run or dont run at all. Neither play in the 6 yrd box. As for Foresyth, he is useless. I am not saying Deeney is amazing but he has never been given a chance. Something needs to change or we are going to get relegated
As i've said a gazillion times, in my opinion we should get Marv off the pitch, put him on the bench, play Deeney and Garner up front, and bring Marv on half way through the second half for whichever one of them needs replacing. Why doesn't Dyche listen to me??!
This is worrying - those of you who went to the game saying how poor it was. The talk of Div 1 is worrying too but surely we're not at Div 1 level yet?!
we were against the saints ,there was a total lack of direction! Today can only go of what others have reported back! No idea why deeney wasnt in the sqad H , he prob made way for Kightly! although I would lose yeates , forsyth big chris and use Deeney , whichelow and murray/ mingoia (our only hope is McGinn is going to save us with some creativity and Troy is going to start to getgames upfront! still think Garner may fire , but we are carrying a lot of garbage!
Think I need to try and get to a game soon to see how bad it is for myself! Live not too far from Leicester but just don't fancy it because think we're just going to get turned over badly!
I was even contemplating going up to Leicester but it is a tad to far for me, looking at my roster my first game will not be till December
