Absolutely not! Some managers take time before they start winning, I think we are just missing Danny Graham, Buckley and Cowie. I want to see if anyone disagrees and why.
Give him another month then if things havent improved then I think Baz and GT need to have a serious rethink!
I don't. There will be no use in sacking him, and undergoing even more change, and who else are we going to get to replace him? We don't really offer much, so for now Dyche will have to do. Give him time he may do well, he may not, but I still feel we have too much quality in our team to be relegated. Leave any changes until the end of the season (unless we really don't improve and get even worse), and then see what happens. I believe sacking him now would do more harm than good.
I dont post much but I will say this..... This is one of the worst Watford teams I have seen in 26 years of watching this club. there are numerous reasons why he should leave... 1) So far the signings have been poor. with the exception of dicko and Hogg the rest have either been poor or sitting on the bench. 2) we are told about how good the young players are...well where are they?????? Whichelow should be at least on the bench and IMO Thompson should be in the team. 3) the tactics are awful, that is if there are any tactics. there is no plan B and little idea about plan a. 4) He just doesnt seem to get the best out of the players, there are some decent players in that squad. 5) He dropped Loach and made him the scapgoat...when there are far worse performances further up the field. I would like to see a manager on the up, who can still be cheap finally we have been lucky with the previous 3 unknown manager. we are now getting our fingers badly burnt
He should never have been made manager in the first place everything about the team is slow we are so predictable theres no plan b even Dyche admitted in the post match interview that the players aren't capable of playing a fast passing game and theres a lack of quality in the team
welcome to the board Silver and I wish it was in happier times , but I have to agree with the majority of what you say! Thompson ,hodson and a heap of others are better than what is out there!
you get what you pay for usually pay peanuts you get monkeys!! Quality costs! Unfortunately we dont have oodles of cash! What we do have is a lot of quality youngsters and why we are not using them is beyond me ! Palace are in a similar boat to us and are using their kids and to good effect!
Its pass and stand still wait til we are 1-0 down sometimes 2 then bring on a sub and play exactly the same way as before
After the game it seemed he had lost confidence in the players..certainly seemed to be very unhappy with them whereas he's been quite upbeat in the past. Not sure how long Bas will give Dyche if crowds drop etc.
I do feel a bit sorry for Dyche. It seems like everyone is claiming that THEY knew that he should 'never' have been manager and that he was the 'cheap and easy' option. People seem to forget that Malky was almost exactly the same when he was appointed and that he had equally bad results. I do wonder, If Malky was still manager, but we still lost Graham, Buckley and Cowie, where would we be now? Same place? Would they be calling for his head? Would we even have a left back?
