My player ratings for Leeds vs Doncaster (all opinion of course!)

Lonergan 6 - A couple of shaky moments in an otherwise solid performance.
Connelly 6 - Not spectacular but again solid.
Lees 7 - Impressed again at centre back, good header for third.
O'dea 8 - Dealt with everything that was thrown at him superbly. Commanding.
White 7 - Sound defensively and looked sharp going forward.
Snodgrass 8 - Tormented Ilunga all night. Slow start to the season appears over.
Howson 7 - Ran the midfield.
Clayton 7 - Strong presence and excellent distribution.
Pugh 7 - Another promising showing. Hasn't got flair but incredibly efficient.
McCormack 8 - Played with confidence and freedom. Stunning finish
Keogh 8 - Work horse performance, with plenty of ability to go with it.

Overall - 8. Great performance from top to bottom, yet the opposition was frankly dreadful. Still there will be big teams who will go to the Keepmoat and struggle to win. Delighted... MOT!!

Boy am I glad we've just signed Lees up long term. Thought him and O'dea looked solid as a rock tonight.

Pugh also offers our team much more balance in place of Gradel.

How can you rate O'Dea 8/10 and ahead of Lees?

Lees was outstanding and O'Dea was the weak link.

I thought O'Dea had a tougher workout than Lees defensively and handled every situation with aplomb. He was an absolute rock. Weak link? What game were you watching :)

i actually agree with you (this is getting scary how much i am agreeing with you lately). I think Lees played well but O'Dear yet again did not look very comfortable. And maybe a little bit harsh on connolly as well. All the others i would agree with. Every single game is just convincing me more that keogh is a better player than becchio, especially in a forward partnership with McCormack

O'Dear didnt play badly, he just doesnt look confortable to deal with situations, when billy sharp was offside early on for example, he was O'Dear's man but he had no idea where he was. Just small things like that. I would given O'Dear a 7 and Lees an 8. Everything else i agree with

I think O'Dea has forged a reputation after his earlier performances in the season. Admittedly they were pretty awful and the ones at left back disastrous, yet he seems a lot more confident in recent outings. He was thrown in at the deep end to be fair.

yea he was thrown in at the deep end which i think was a mistake, however i can understand why. But for this game, i still think he looked uncomfortable under pressure, made a couple of minor mistakes and also lost track of his man a few times as well. Lees played better than him, he looked sound, in control, and won headers very well.

Yeah Josh is right, O'Dea lost his man a few times and the few dangerous moments Doncaster had were down to him.

Lees is excellent in the air, he wins every header and they either travel a long way or go into an area where there's no danger. O'Dea may win a lot of headers but they can fall straight to the opposition.

Keogh is a different player to Becchio, not a better one. Keogh wouldn't get you anywhere near 20 goals a season. He's just not clinical enough and a little slow to react in the final third.

yea i agree about keogh but i think he fits into the style of play better than becchio does, he does so much more for surrounding players. Becchio hussles defenders and works hard but i'd prefer to have keogh in possession of the ball than becchio as i think he is gonna do something. Keogh's flicks are good too, the one for mccormack's goal was good

spot on in my view:- I like Keogh, but would always pick Becchio ahead of him, If I had both bearing down on goal and had to bet everything i own on 1 of them finishing, i dont trust Keogh to do it. I think Clivetime has summed it up perfectly-not clinical enough. They both work hard, but Becchio also gives u the goals!

Tom Lees has been fantastic since moving to CB. Glad we've got him a new deal. He's not the tallest but like people have said - is great in the air. O'Dea has impressed me the last 2 games, after I initially hated the signing and said he was a terrible defender, so hopefully his good for will continue.

Keogh isn't a goal scorer in anyway. He'll get maybe 4 goals a season. But his link up play is so good, his first touch fantastic and he works so hard, good passing etc. But Becchio holds the ball up as well - although not as a good as Keogh - and will get 20 goals. For that he should be first choice. However, with Keogh playing so well, it's great competition for the team. I wouldn't change anything yet. We now have 2 strikers who can hold the ball up brilliantly, whereas last season we were so reliant on Becchio.

I was once the star striker for Flitwick Eagles back in the day. Now I'm exclusively a badminton player. Something went wrong down the line obviously!

Cheese, what standard do you play Badminton to? The Bush brothers are doin a fine job at Team Bath, and Loughborough are just behind em. Leeds Met are the next strongest, though they are the only uni to pay players to play?

Yeah we (Canterbury) have a solid team, A couple of ex Internationals and high standard county players. I'm Mens captain this year, but we're in quite a low division, this despite being in a higher one last year without being relegated... The way BUCS runs the leagues confuses me no end.

Really, was playin 4 months ago with Andrew Smith (Eng no1 singles), he was recovering from injury, so came back home from his base Kular Lumpar and stayed with his family, I've also played against Amir Ghaffar before.
