in his position i would say Dortmund are more attractive than us purely as he will get games for comparison the slightly older Elliott signing for us the previous year got loaned out to a team in the division Bellingham then left and Bellingham played 29 times in BL and 10 times in CL and gets capped fur England and will now be on display in the Euros .
Yeah but at that point he would have been joining English champions and not be jobbing for ahem 3rd If he was any good he would think himself better than elliot with better hair as well. When he turns 24 and sees lfc on their 3rd tile in 4 years he'll regret it not that we bid of course
There also the family factor. Whats better living in Germany or Liverpool if most of your family is in the Midlands
I like germany but not the heavily industrialized part like dortmund. In the end I'm sure we can all agree the kid made and awful choice even if we probably never actually offered him anything.

14mil is easy money. We played 5 in sterling then loaned him for 4 years so it's pure profit as his loans have more than covered his original fee.
